wow I think I'm going to cry:baby:... tears of joy!:boing: It looks amazing! I can't wait to play it, and to think that people were doubting at once... Shame, shaaaaame! Also I'd like to say hey to everyone I havent been here in awhile I thought gametavern was no more when there were technicalities that one time, but alas I found out different and I'm back, ahoy hoy!
humm, i think i'm going to have to try and download a movie.
I must admit, there not as bad as i was expecting, especilly the forth shot. The light reflecting on link from the lava (i'm guessing it's lava) looks pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeing peoples verdicts on playing the game, i might just be able to get over the drastic change in the look. Admitadly it's growing on me a bit, but i can full heartadly say i would have prefered the old look.
One thing i am worried about, is if link has an increadable irritating squeaky voice.
And i know i haven't made any posts for a long time, i have been here, but i've only had the chance to glace through the forums. I just haven't had the time to be perfectly onast.

Those look pretty good...
Even in 16 colors....
*sigh*
And how could you fear Link having a squeaky voice? He doesn't talk!
Or at least in the past games he hasn't....

The Space World 2001 video is so far gone how can you still remorse over something so far gone. Lets welcome the new... Who knows the next Zelda may have fantastic realism...

16 colors or not, this game is better looking than any other "cel shaded" game on the market. Definite purchase.

They look amazing... and the videos show that the game plays near identical to the 64 version.

I think it looks cool... the enviornments don't quite remind me of LttP as much as the first video (in the forest area) did... but oh well... :p
But I dunno... It all looks like a bunch of tropical islandness... Zelda on a tropical island?
Anyways... it will still probably be a great game yay :D
And yes... near identical gameplay to N64 = very good...
Yeah and umm... *thinks* Yep looks nice bye...

Go Celda go.
I mean, come on guys -- the look changed, but the gameplay should be the same. Everyone seems so upset that the look changed, and I just don't get it

WOAH! These pictures look sweet! I have to admit, I am not a big fan about the Zelda series turning into cell shade, but these pictures are mighty impressive. I can't wait to see some videos.

The look on Link's face in the third picture is priceless. I started laughing when i saw it. The look has really grown on me, cause now the game actually looks FUN! And isn't that what gaming is all about? fun? Anyone who doesn't get this game just because it looks like a cartoon (although a damn good looking cartoon) is really gonna miss out.

I have never seen cel-shading this good, it's at its finest!
I can totally see how this look can work!

those screens look great, but DAMN! I finally got the video to work...WOW. Incredible. DOWNLOAD IT NOW!!!!!!!!!
Good to see it looking crap as ever. Ok thats a little harsh, I'll be honest, it looks a little better than it did and seeing the gameplay aspects intrigues me that little bit more.
Some of those shots look crappy, I dont really like the lava ones the baddie on the 4th pic looks all effed up and weird. But others, link standing in the grass and the one where Link is standing by a... a... uum... hang on what the hell is that:
http://images.nintendo.com/nintendo/contents/gamepage/gamecontent/images/e3/zelda-
Whatever it looks good. (EDIT: Ok it aint working, I am referring to the second pic that BaB posted)
Hopefully some decent quality videos will surface over the next few days, what I have seen so far is crap quality.
At the end of the day I still stand steadfast by my opinion, Nintendo should have created an entirely new franchise to do this with altogether and given us the Zelda we wanted.

uh, you can stream a video at 400k at Nintendo.com...
good enough quality for me...Mario is also looking great!

The Zelda trailer is friggin' amazing...as are all the trailers. Well, Wario is a bit "eh".
Not too shabby. At least the gameplay will make up for any imperfection that the visuals have.

Well I just watched the movie... it's awesome... I wanna play the game now :(
The only thing that kinda dissapointed me was that the short scene of Link in that boat (during the gameplay) made it look like it was kind of an action-ish mini-game... I wanted it to just be like... normal kinda slower exploring... :(
Oh well it could still be cool :p

Whoa! That movie did it! I'm excited!!! :D:D
 HOLY CHIT CAKES
FUDGING HELL
Guys I have to say to you
Download The Video From Nintendo.com Now
It's damn excellent, makes the game look excellent, the screenshots are crap in comparison.
Wow I WANT this game NOW Mr. Miyamoto.

Every game has a story.
Only one is a legend.
*shivers* :D
Great movie! Can't see it enough! :D
I've just seen it for the first time................................:D
It was pretty increadable actaully, i'm am extremely impressed. It looks totally different to anything i've ever seen, now thats the way to execute cell shading.
Oh, and talk about sword spining maddness, jesus.

thats the one thing im worried about...play time and difficulty...I hope it is at least as difficult as OOT, and hopefully just as long...
but god that video is sweet....I like the part where link is crawling through the tunnel, then the music is cool, somebody said it is from the OOT comercial, I dont remember it, but its pretty cool music...

Yeah thats the bit where the music picks up and gets cool, when he's crawling through the tunnel into a new adventure if you like.
Angrist said it was from the OoT commercial, I don't recognise it either though.

I am on 56K an I downloaded it. It's great.
I like when link has a mad spinning attack with his sword, thats great. Anyone notice the barrel jumping in the boat at the beginning, Link has 64 rupees, collects a rupee and still has 64 :hmm:

Yeah the music really makes the trailer the bomb but however I'm going to be a critic here.
I don't really see any vast gameplay improvements ....SHiggy said he changed it beacause he could do more with the gameplay when the game the looked like that...and I haven't seen or heard about any vast improvements in that area.
Wow Link can now spin and move around...oh look if I walk across the rope bridge with a torch it burns....hey I can pick up other enemies weapons ..WOW!! Oh please
Don't get me wrong guys the game looks sweet, hell, it looks like a live cartoon.....however Shiggy said that he changed the look so he could vastly improve the GP and that's something I'm not seeing.....I think all of the things Link does right now could have been done using the Spaceworld 2000 graphics...except for Link's funny facial expressions. *sigh*
I'll probadly buy the game but I was hoping to see or hear about some vast improvements made to the gameplay. *sigh*
I hope that Shiggy adds some more stuff..since the game isn't really done as yet.

I once had the OoT commercial on my PC, downloaded it from IGN, it had the same music, only this one is extended. The old one was only 1 minute.
Man, I just had my exam Math...

Fingersman, there really is no harm in being the devils advocate. But you have to remember that Nintendo haven't really shown 'much' of zelda. Ofcourse there will be other things in the game, but in pure Nintendo style, they have opted to keep it away from public audiences, well atleast I think they have. They always have done in the past.
I guess more will be revealed at Spaceworld 2002.
