I pretty much own all the Zelda games (most together with my brother). The obvious ones missing are the CDi games which weren't even made by Nintendo.

And then there's another one: Zelda: Twilight Princess for the Nintendo GameCube...

Of course I have the Wii version and I love it. I always figured I should get the GameCube version... because it completes my collection, and I might want to play through it as well.

So what do you think? Used copies cost between €25 and €35. Would you get it?

Seems a little bit pointless. Cant you play it on the Wii with a gamecube controller anyways?

No can do. And the GameCube version is different because it has a mirrored world (which is the original world... they mirrored it for the Wii so Link would be right-handed).

All the items except for the bow/boomerang/slingshot seem to work better on the Cube.

Graphics are exactly the same.

Actually, I think the Wii one is slightly better graphically, but yeah it is pointless.

You have the Wii version, I assume you already beat it. And if my math is correct gonna be spending like 40 bucks on a game you already own just to see the diff.

Yeah but if it's for your collection, then if you want it to be complete you will need the GC version. Probably better to get it now, likely to just go up in price in the future as it becomes somewhat harder to find.

I almost thought you were suggesting getting the CD-i ones too.

The Angry Video Game Nerd did a three part CD-i segment for the Zelda and Hotel Mario games, and getting working CD-i's (which he went through two, third one was a winner) and getting the Zelda games themselves cost about 700 bucks, with Zelda's Adventure costing about 170 USD. Insane.

Hehe I'll never get the CD-i games (or system). Then I'd rather spend my cash on the Virtual Boy. But I won't.

I realized that prices seem to be going down. A few months ago they were asking €40 for it, now it sometimes drops to €25. I'll wait a while. :)
