What surprises me is that IGN(Cube)(and others?) are not locking out E3 coverage to only Insider members as of yet;) I betcha they will once E3 officially begins.
They better not make E3 coverage exclusive to IGN Insiders. Otherwise all hell will break loose.:mad2:

Err... I find videogames.com more convenient than IGN for E3 anyways... They have all the news in one big multiplatform list.. I like it that way...
Also you can see ALL screenshots (as long as they are from the latest update) without having their special service thing... whereas with IGN, you can only look at like 5 screenshots from one update and then it locks it... that happened with me and RE0... I was going down the list looking at them, tried to see a 5th, and it said insider only... so I went to videogames.com a little later and they had 19 (IGN had 20 I think... oh no boo hoo :p ) of them there and I could see all of them... *shrugs*

Yes, they will lock most of their E3 coverage. Did you miss the ad?
Plus most of the live news updates go to the forums.

Well if you actually paid for IGN Insider you wouldn't mind, would you?
Nothing in this world is free, deal with it. Online websites are going to cost money if you want quality. IGN provides by far the best gaming coverage, and if you don't like it, by all means, go to another site. More bandwidth for me :)
I pay for more than just IGN. FilePlanet is another I subscribe to. You guys bitch while waiting an hour for your download to start, I go immediatly and still get the file at over 100k/sec, and don't have banners on the site.
You got 2 options:
1) Fork over the cash, and get good gaming coverage
2) Sit around and bitch as IGN goes to an all-pay service while I laugh at you.

Come on gekko, we can't all be rich. If you had 56K, got $5 for allowance, and were unable to see Zelda in action for the first time while other people were, you'd be bitching too.
I can't say that I've never bitched about it, but in truth IGN is doing nothing wrong here. They are a business, and therefore can charge whenever they feel like it, on whatever they feel like. It's how our country runs. If the consumer is willing to pay for a certain price on something, then it'll be charged. Simple as that.

It pisses me right off aswell, Ok so I can access IGN insider but thats not the point is it. BreakABone seems to post most of the Gamecube stuff they have on here anyway.
And if you are after Gamecube Videos all the decent ones are on nintendo.com anyway.

True...True. But ya know, its a little hard being 17 without a credit card:( So basically I will slow down the bit*hiness of IGN. I can understand they are doing it for money a nd cuz this is the way websites will be run in 10 years, making everyone go into debt just to look at a few sites:D ;) But I've got other sources like other people have said.

The only problem is, is that Cube-Europe is down at least until E3 is over:(
Add on(So I dont double post): I noticed on IGNPS2 that almost everything is unlocked and yet on IGNXBOX and IGNCube, I noticed almost everything is locked. Conspiracy I tell you, Conspiracy! (I only looked for the locks by the headline so correct me is I'm wrong)

IGNcube is IGN's biggest section, to my knowledge. So yes, they would lock more stuff. They also require more servers.
And it's usually media and exclusives that are locked. Media cause it uses mucho bandwidth, and exclusives cause you can get the news other places. I mean, IGN gets press releases and writes it in a less promotional, yet readable way.
Of course, if you guys worked on a website, and got contacts you wouldn't be complaining either. Like me, get all the press releases, and media from all the major companies, and some minor. So basically when IGN gets new screens and news, I have 90% of it without the IGN logo, and all the sweet-ass concept art they release that rarely gets put up. Not to mention box art and character art in sizes like 4000x3500. Basically too big to look at in all but 25% zoom. I save most of it, 3.5GB on Gamecube alone.
So in the end, there's multiple solutions for your problems. 1) Pay the price. 2) Get the news yourself. Takes work, but has benefits.
