I should have realized CipKat would be the first one to answer it. He always has practical solutions for PC problems. He beats Null.
Another happy GT member. But Linda, are you going to post your pic anyway?

I actually find it pretty funny.

I'm just glad the spammers discovered the thread rating function for us. I'm so gonna rate all your stuff now.

Yeah wtf where did that rating come from? And why isn't it on other threads?

Looked around after seeing that. Just the Monster Wars, Movies, and Music forums seems to have it implemented.
I initially disabled the feature in all of the forums, but probably forgot to disable it in our newer forums.
The feature could be implemented in all forums if we think that would be beneficial (or disabled in the new forums).

I'd get rid of them altogether. We have so few threads that I think everyone (or at least I do) checks and reads them at least once. Seems more like something for a busier place where you have a lot of crap threads to wade through and the ratings make it easier.

Yeah I tried to rate some threads, but I caught myself rating the topic of the thread, not the quality of it. And it was all personal opinion.
Bad spammers, bad!!!

I like it. It lets us give anonymous disapproving opinions. Nothing like anonymous hate to get you through your day!
But really, I like it, even if for our small community it won't mean much. The question is, why not? Why take away features that don't harm anything?

You know The Professor is doing his job when he edits spam posts to be more offensive than what was originally posted.
Hats off to you, sir!
