Firing one of the first shots in the net neutrality war, AT&T has blocked 4chan’s /b/ image board. AT&T subscribers are unable to connect to /b/ and /r9k/ (both of which are hosted on img.4chan.org). However, subscribers can get on any of the so-called «worksafe» boards that 4chan.org offers.

The problem seems to be present only for wired connections only (AT&T Mobility customers are not affected). The problem is not caused by an DNS-error, as traceroutes indicates that AT&T is dropping img.4chan.org requests in the AT&T network.

The beginning of net neutrality? 4chan is a force I wouldn't mess with, AT&T is about to receive the backlash of a century.

I don't like the idea of censoring in general....but, it's 4chan. I hate them for their one mind and vicious attacks. They're like a single entity, not thinking for themselves. Just a bunch of ants. Helpless, stupid, and weak by themselves. But together they'll destroy your picnic and crap in your egg salad.

That said, Facebook and Twitter should be blocked as well.

Most of it ranges from retarded to awful but there's some funny stuff there.

Bond, don't feel bad. I didn't know what 4chan was until coming to DigiPen and well... I'll let that speak for itself. 4chan is basically an unmoderated message board. As already mentioned, it's full of mindless teenagers, unintelligent conversation, and of course, child porn. Literally, everyone and everything you hate on the internet can be found in abundance on that board.

The only thing you may know it for is all those stupid cat images that went around the internet. Also grouped in with the retards are people who pretend to be hackers and know just enough to make mindless kids believe they're dangerous. This is why people thought 4chan was going to take down AT&T. Well, no one intelligent thought that, just 4chan users.
