I'm not much of a WoW player, but I thought people might be interested to discuss this. I'm a big Raimi supporter, and I guess he missed out on being picked to direct "The Hobbit", so maybe he can work his magic here.

My opinion is that I think I'm curious to see how much this film grosses, assuming WoW is still the 10+ million subscriber game it is when the movie comes out.

As someone who has been playing WoW on and off since its inception, I'll probably check it out no matter the reviews... Not out of high hopes so much as pure curiosity.
Though I suppose with it being such a huge IP from such a picky developer being handled by an acclaimed director, it has a better chance at actually being decent than most game movies have...

I wish they'd just do a full CGI movie, like the ones Blizzard use in their games.
