Not to be confused with Coheed and Cambria's song "The Delirium Trigger" which I almost just did.

So here is a lesser known fighter coming out next month that I figured I would share with you gaiz.

Pretty good video of things there.

Basically the game plays a lot like guilty gear only... Well not. We've been playing it for the past 10 months or so in an arcade in Nashville.

It will be released on June 25th for both Xbox 360 and PS3. It will have online play and judging from how good things have gotten just in the online fighters scene from fan based online fighting systems, I assume the online will appear to be lag free. (YAY).

Right now there are 12 characters and I feel they are all pretty unique in terms of fighting game characters in terms of Mechanics that is. Like the big man in this game has moves that magnetize the other character and certain moves will then cause the character to fly toward him. One character controls the wind and can manipulate the character, herself, and her projectiles using it. Things like that I haven't really seen in a fighter before. So it feels fresh.

I play the iceman. Jin Kisaragi. I freeze bitches all day.

Check it out. It's quite a lot simpler than guilty gear, but still can be complex if you want to get into it. Having a lot of fun with the game at the moment and I'm dropping quarters to play it lol.

Looks amazing - has to be built using the GG engine (checked Gamespot and it's definitely the same dev company).

It's going to be awesome having a 2D anime style fighter in HD...I have accent core for the PS2, but the transition to an HD tv isn't that great on it.

I'm really glad to see this getting some attention here; it's good to hear that you're enjoying it enough to shell out quarters for the chance to play it.

I never really got into much GG myself, but I absolutely love the detail in 2D fighters. With this and KoFXII coming out for consoles in the near future, it's hard to deny that the fighting game genre itself is experiencing something of a resurgence. Hooray!

Well actually we go to the arcade and pay a lump sum of 50 dollars a day to put the machine on Freeplay. It's fun times.

So Blazblue is out now in stores. Not even as a pre-order bonus it included a dvd of how to play the game tips and tricks stuff like that (Which my friends and I were almost on but we couldn't afford the trip to L.A.) and it also includes the soundtrack and a remix soundtrack too. It adds no extra price to the game either and is only available at the first run of game prints. Get it guys.

Also the online play is great.

Holy balls, this game's awesome. I'm freaking terrible at it, though.

Yeah, neither am I.

But I'm sort of holding out playing too much until I get an arcade stick. I was going to buy one a couple of weeks ago, but my computer died and I had to buy a new one. So I'm waiting for a couple of paychecks to come through before I splurge on an $80 stick.

Yeah, I've just been playing with the Dual Shock 3. Couple that with the fact that I've not ever played a fighting game before and it's a recipe for disaster, lol. This genre is just so unlike everything else I've ever played that it's kinda hard to jump into, though BlazBlue is fun enough that it makes me want to really try.
