While woodpeckers have that wood pecking thing they could do, I have to say badgers. Badgers are nasty vicious creatures, evil bastards they are.

Holy cow the badger is winning by an overwhelming majority...i voted for the woodpecker, who is just a mischievous bastard.

Badgers have skin so tough that even a snake cannot pierce it to deliver venom. They have sharp claws and pointy, carnivorous teeth. If forced to fight, the wood pecker might have some sort of advantage because it can fly, but ultimately it would not be able to kill the badger.
