Not here. But on a similar note, I did get strange mails concerning my WoW account. It's been frozen for years, but now somebody requested a new password and activated my free TBC trial.
That is so weird, it would mean he also has access to my e-mail, which is virtually impossible.

Oh, he got me banned twice, for spamming the chat.

Didnt that guy already make a spam thread before?

I'm going to look into how to crackdown on these spammers later today.

New users now require a unique email and email verification.

Hopefully this solves our problem.

Programmers these days....

I assume these bots operate like a call logger, only they find internet forums and attempt to advertise their shit. No intelligent person would try to advertise crap on a forum with such a small community like GT.

Occasionally when searching for some obscure artist on google you find a spambot posting the same spam on multiple forums.

Such a waste....

We are still trying to crack down on these annoying spam bots. Sorry for the inconvenience. If you see a post that was missed please report it, and if you get a spam PM please let me know and I will ban the member.

I'm still freaked out how the spambots we got lately told us what they like - with relevance.

Sweet Jesus, they're learning emotions.

Every time I see a spam post, I miss CamFuBot tremendously.
