Sounds good but I doubt we have Free Comic Book Day in Holland. That's ok, I rarely read them anyway.

There's also a store locator for those who are interested.

DC's comic this year deals with Blackest Night so I suggest if you go to see if they have DC Universe 0, which is only 50 cents, but it was like a snapshot of most of DC's major storylines last year... Final Crisis, RIP, Amazons Attack and the whole Green Lantern war of colors.

Just wanted to give this a bump to remind everyone that this is tomorrow.
So go check it out!

Keep in mind, page through the books before you take them. There is a lot of crap advertisements put out for free comic book day, but I also was turned on the Atomic Robo at the same time. Choose wisely.

Sounds like it was a fun trip. Getting free stuff is always good.

The point of Free Comics Day besides getting free crap is to try and discover some lesser titles so I'm working my way through my haul.

-Green Lantern: Blackest Night 00- From a getting me to read standpoint, it really doesn't matter been looking forward to the Blackest Night for some time. The issue itself was pretty good, and does get me more interested in the series, but you know that already from the thread I made.

Buck Rogers 0- I've heard the name before so was surprised this was a new series, but apparently its an updated version of a classic character. The issue was eh imo, it kind of sets up his adventure but its so vague you really aren't intrigued to go on. At least, I wasn't.

Project Superpowers 0- Based on the title, I expected something different from this book though what I got seems like it will be enjoyable as well. May pick this up for a few issues to see how it plays out.

The Corps- Best one I read so far, doesn't seem to deal with supers. Instead a ragtag team of mercs for hired, who have already turned on one of their own. Haha

DC Kids Mega Sampler- Never read any of the kids line and probably won't. Its an awesome idea though.

:( I wish we had free comic book day in the UK. It's not fair.

I have a super rare limited edition marvel comic. They made it for a brand of sweets called Jaw Breakers. Collect the wrappers, send away for the comic.

The comic amongst others featured a unique Spiderman story where he visits a kid in a sick home for cancer victims and even reveals his true identity to the boy.
