Ah, I saw this earlier and I really appreciated it because I really think that Nicolas Cage has sucked the dick recently in his films. I mean, I can dig Raising Arizona, Wild at Heart, Face/Off and some others, but overall his career sucks. He has done some real bad stuff, so I'll write him off.

I don't know
I don't mind Gone in 60 Seconds or Matchstick Men and didn't see Ghost Rider because it just looked bad.

Has anyone realized there are more bad comic movies than good ones or maybe easier to think of the bad ones.

That begs the question,

are there more bad comic book movies, or more bad video game movies?

There's so much that can go wrong in a comic book movie......bad casting choices, not following the comic stories, making the movie too campy, making the movie too serious.......

BaB reminded me of the old Superman films, which were pretty good. X2 was good. Spidey 1 was good, and although Spidey 2 ruined characters and screwed with the comic it was also a good movie. Sin City kicked ass. Hellboy I and II are great, and Blade I is a solid second tier film. V for Vendetta was good, Batman Begins was good. The Dark Knight was epic. Watchmen was good. Iron Man was very enjoyable.

And everything else is mediocre, or campy, or too deviant of the comics, or just plain fucking awful (Batman & Robin).

On that note....

I would add Batman/Returns, most anything from the DCAU (New Frontier, Superman/Doomsday, Mask of the Phantasm, Wonder Woman, etc)

While not for everyone, I enjoyed the original Punisher (the one with Thomas Jane not the old old one)

While nothing at all like the comic books, The Mask was also a good movie.

The first two Turtles movies, and TMNT I enjoyed.

Wanted was good fun, but nothing like the comic once again ahha.

I liked Silent Hill, it actually stayed pretty true to the videogame for the most part. And visually it was pretty cool to look at.
