Are you more afraid of a potential Robots Uprising or a Zombie Apocalypse?

zombies are squishy and retarded, robots are metal, organized and armed. you do the math.

Robots shoot you. Zombies, while easier to kill, still come in hordes and being eaten alive probably sucks more than being shot.
Zombies would probably be scarier. I don't want to be afraid of anything other than dying at that time.
Not sure. Robots don't seriously bother me too much but it would still suck. There is a computer place I have seen often called Skynet near us.
Zombies though...being eaten alive would just suck. Though for a zombie apocalypse Cam, Adam and I have agreed to stay away from Earl or at least use him as bait.

I'd say I'm more afraid of Zombies.
While robots can kill you, diminishing your human stock, zombies once were human, so the stock diminishes by deaths, and conversions.

With our technology now, robots would murder us all.
I welcome a zombie apocalypse.

Robots would be more threatening in reality because they could find an "infinite" source of energy. They could use solar power or make human batteries. Eventually zombies are going to run out of stuff to eat and just die.
Which is scarier though.....probably zombies. I would hate to be eaten alive, and with a planet full of 6 billion+ people, if a zombie outbreak occurred you wouldn't have anywhere to hide. At least if the robots took over you could hide.

Zombie apocalypse is impossible. Robot apocalypse is possible.
Beside that, I think escaping from zombies is way more fun than from robots.

Human batteries is meaningless. It wouldn't do anything.
Also I think that zombies, while more horrifying, would be more survivable. A robot uprising would be unstopable I think.

Upload a virus and the robots shut down. Zombie domination is inevitable because humans are mortal, and all who die BECOME a zombie regardless of contact with zombies (using the classic/ultimate Romero formula)
Defeat in a zombie apocalypse is inevitable, and so is the individual's transformation into a walking undead horror who hunts those he once called brother. It is a slow, plodding trudge towards oblivion and all those in it's wake see their fate reanimate before them every God forsaken day until they too are pulled beneath the doomtide.
With robots at least you have a fighting chance.

I feel like robots are more scary because it seems more realistic that robots might come alive and try to kill us. Have you seen those Japanese robot secretaries and maids? That's some scary shit.
Also THIS thing...

I mean seriously, that's messed up and freaky and I want no part of it. Zombies...meh

Zombie apocalypse is impossible.
I think theres a better chance of zombie apocalypse than efficient killer robots.
Maybe not a traditional, rise out of the ground zombie, but maybe a virus or parasite kind of zombie. Perhaps even a Headcrab zombie?

Okay let's think about it this way
There are only so many materials for our robotic overlords to use before they can no longer produce more.
Than can be an endless supply of humans.
But we have effective means of killing zombies with blows to the head, its been really difficult to kill the robots as I've seen.
So one has an endless wave, but easily killable... while the other has a finite supply amount, but no means to kill them effectively.

Until the robots reach singularity and learn to self replicate.

I've been giving this some thought, and I have to say I still I would be more worried about a Zombie Apocalypse than a robot one. I think you might have a greater chance of survival in the short term if zombies took over, but eventually the zombies would weigh you down killing the remaining humans off...one by one.
There's something very cerebral and heavy about zombies...something about inevitable, impending doom....it just resonates with the human experience. That's probably why it is my favorite horror genre. :lolz:

I think the amount of Zombie buffs and nerds like ourselves effectively eliminates the zombie equation. Like do you know what you would do if zombies broke out? You do. Why? Because of about 8 different RE games and tons of movies. If you're like me your plan of action is to head to the nearest gun store, grab as many guns, as much ammo and maybe a sweet melee weapon, head to a grocery store, and kill anything that doesn't speak. If someone gets bitten they are killed immediately. It's a harsh zombie reality. Zombies are slow and stupid. They die.
Robots... I'm fucked there.

Yeah but what if that wasn't the right way to deal with zombies? What if they're only hurt by something else..water, maybe?

You watch too much M. Night Shyamalan movies.
I think we can survive a Zombie apocalypse by starving them out. Robots don't need food... and they can actually make plans.

Haha, I was actually making fun of that :D
But seriously, what if guns didn't work on them?

Also, I would like to add.. or maybe its been mentioned before... who knows.
That history (or movies whatever you want to go with) shows us that humans will eventually gain control of at least one robot who will fight on our side, and knows how to shut their brothers down.
We just need to listen to that lone, cold robotic voice.
Zombies won't defect.... or I've never heard of it.

The question isn't who would WIN in a zombie apocalypse or robot uprising, the question is which do we fear more.
I personally, plainly, don't fear zombies. Why? They don't exist. Never met one. Never saw one. I have, on the other hand, seen robots, and some pretty lethal, creepy, intelligent robots too. A robot uprising can happen, therefore I fear it.
Zombie apocalypse? Not so much.

Robots are a product of human engineering. Call me a cynic but if humanity can't save humanity robots will never be smart enough to take us over.

An alien invasion is far scarier than either.
A new contender enters the battlefield, and it may be the clear winner.
I mean aliens have been everything from nice to ungodly creatures of destruction so we really don't know what to expect with them. And thus far, the only real solution is if they are dumb enough to come here and not be immuned to our diseases or water.
