A few games 360 owners should look into because at the moment they look like they will be pretty amazing.

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena.
Release date - April 7

You cant deny that Vin Diesel is a badass, which by default makes this game badass.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.
Release date - May 26

Its open world, so if you wanted to you could run over to those tanks.

You can cut people in half, hijack vehicles, surf on corpses, steal someones identity and blame your crimes on someone else, and really just fuck shit up. What sucks the most about this game though is that it was supposed to half coop like Crackdown, but they cut it out for some reason. They say they might think about maybe putting it back in later on though.

Anyone else interested in other games to come in the next few months?

They might have their work cut out trying to beat Battlefield.

I think this is going to be way better than battlefield. More realistic, more vehicles and weapons to use. I think its going to have a bigger multiplayer as well. So far it seems to be kind of like CoD4s gameplay style but on a much bigger scale.

Just played the Wolverine demo and was pleasantly surprised, it is a tad violent. Haha.

seems like a strong beat em up, which is not so surprising when you realize comes from X-men Legends/MUA games.

Its being made by Rock Star, same guys who did GTA.
I think its an interesting idea, I want to lasso wild horses and make them my own.

I'm publishing my own 360 game called "FarCry Me a River." It's a FPS in which you wonder around and try to console whiny people. When that inevitably doesn't work, you shoot them in the face.

Decided to revive this thread with new games.

Shadow Complex is out tomorrow, looks pretty good.

A 4 player Lost Planet 2 demo is also out tomorrow, and while I wasnt a fan of the first lost planet, the idea of 4 player coop has me intrigued.

Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is coming along nicely.

They are remaking Earthworm Jim for XBLA.

Batman: AA comes out in a week, that should be good.

Section 8 looks like it has potential but ill wait a bit longer to judge it.

And of course Darkest of Days comes out early next month. That will be an interesting one.

Halo: ODST is going to be sweet, even though lots of people dislike it already for the sole reason of it being Halo. But I think ODST's are cooler than Spartans so it will be awesome to be one of them.

Hahahaha, they are making a Bakugan game. When will those kind of shows end.

Borderlands sounds neat. The box art sure is. :p

Game looks interesting. 87 bazillion guns! And I shall count!.

Little is currently known about gameplay, other than the game will feature four player cooperative play along with other singleplayer and multiplayer modes. In addition, players have access to customizable vehicles for "vehicular combat" and will also be able to customize their character. Deceased enemies will drop their equipment, which is available for you to pick up. You will be able to choose from 4 different playable characters, who each have their own unique abilities.

According to a more recent interview by 1UP.com with CEO and president of Gearbox Software, Randy Pitchford said, the game's astounding arsenal will feature over 500,000 weapons. An addition of 150,000 new weapons came from the inclusion of alien technology.

Well, ODST comes out first. Besides, ODST is awesome. I get to play it again this weekend, and can't wait :D I actually think I might like ODST more than any previous Halo.

I already pre-ordered ODST, but I might switch to doing this.

I have a 360 and a Wii. This whole PS3 Slim business has caused the price point to drop well and even bundles (with the fat) for the same price. It seems now would be the time to get a PS3 as the value would be high if you can get a bundled fat PS3. Any reason to get a PS3 if I already got the 360, or any reason to NOT?

Mass Effect 2 comes out January 26th and is looking awesome.

Surprised BaBs didnt go crazier to the announcement of a Batman sequel.

Halo Reach beta comes out early spring sometime.

Bioshock 2 is out in February

Something new is bound to come out about Fallout: New Vegas soon.

And Red Dead Redemption should be interesting. Being made by Rockstar Games and is set in the wild wild west, so expect a western GTA.

An update on things coming out.

On monday you will be able to download the Crackdown 2 demo. I really want it to be good and fun but it looks like it could use a bit more time working the kinks out. It comes out on July 6.

Sniper Ghost Warrior.
I havnt heard anything on co-op about this game but id assume there is cause there are 2 snipers. To me this game seems like a revamp of Sniper Elite, so it should be good. Comes out June 29.

Ive never played any of the Deus Ex series but this game has a really pretty trailer. Still dont know what its about or how it plays though.

One thing in Reach im really looking forward to is the new pimped out firefight, featuring customizable skulls and waves of enemies, and an orbital artillery strike. It comes out on September 14, a day before my birthday, so that will be a nice present. :p
