The video of the meeting is extremely long and boring (2 hours). I couldn't sit through it but here's some key info from one who had the time to watch it all:

A new Sonic game will launch next year, not a spinoff, but a fully new game.

Footage of F-Zero for GameCube was shown, but the camera panned away. That pretty much locks it for E3.

Sega is working on arcade boards based on PS2 and XBox (the latter code named Chiro), as well as Triforce.

New VF4 game: Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution for arcades. It will be shown at a show on June 11, released in August, and have 'network capabilities'. No new home version mentioned.

Sega took 1/3 of the overall arcade market share in Japan.

Sales figures (worldwide):
Super Monkey Ball: 700,000
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle: 1 million
Virtua Fighter 4: 1.5 million

A new Shining Force game is in the works. No system mentioned.

Sega Sports is going to try and launch their titles on the same day EA does, on all systems.

A soccer sim will come into the Sega Sports brand.

New Sega Rally title coming soon.

House of the Dead will evolve into a 'horror adventure' series.

Sakura Taisen will launch overseas.

And now my own notes:

Skipped ahead to the good stuff. (Bar graphs galore!) Thought I heard them mention "NiGHTS". Probably wrong. The arcade thingy Chiro sounds pretty cool. Then they went on to talk about the motherboard and then got technical and I droned out again.

Baka baka baka! They then showed a 4-minute video showing stuff for E3 but the camera pans away and you don't see diddly squat, while a slow corny love song plays for the time the video is shown with camera recording nothing but darkness.

I can comfirm some of the the games mentioned above like Shining Force. A lot of sports games were mentioned, the majority being baseball and soccer. A lot of soccer for Europe. Games mentioned: Sega Rally, House of Dead (horror adventure)...

Want to invest in films and animation. Sakura.

Want to expand in broadband.

Speaker begins to talk very quicky for lack of time.

Need to catch up with market in US.

I skipped a lot but I didn't hear anything about Sonic where the games were mentioned.

Well there were some other news in there from what I ould pick up on some forums...

The PS2 version of Skies of Arcade is cancelled but the GameCube version is still coming.

Amusement Vision is developing a new Virtua Striker game on Triforce.

F-Zero video will definately be shown at E3.

New Sonic game coming next year, but the console isn't confirmed yet. I expect it will at least debut on GameCube though, if not exclusively

Well that is from someone at XenGamers that was able to watch the video.

Hmm not bad this makes SOA Cube excluvie and may even hint at GC-GBa connections.

Sega rebuffs online rumors about the game's cancellation.

Online reports coming out of Japan and Germany this morning have stated that the PlayStation 2 version of Sega's RPG Skies of Arcadia has been canceled. A quick call to Sega representatives revealed that the company is still planning to bring the game out sometime during the 2003 fiscal year. .
