Users can now edit their own posts indefinitely!

(I'm not sure if this is retroactive.)

Hopefully this will rid us of that little italisized message that appears when you edit a post.

Nope, that's still there.

It's to prevent people going back later to change their entire post in the middle of an argument. That wouldn't be very fair, would it?

Poster 1: Hahahaha you like turtles hahahaha
Poster 2: I didn't say I liked turtles.
Poster 1: Yes you did right he-
Poster 2: No I didn't. All it says is that Poster 1 sucks.
Poster 1: Curses and blast! So you did!

I like this feature of GT. The thing that gets me is when I write a really long post and get logged out. At least I dont loose what I'd written though. I like putting comments when I edit a post. Sometimes I edit a post and put a little note there rather than spam a new post just to say thanks to someone. Like whoever gave me back my posts today, nice one.
