Buy it.

I have been playing games for a long time, and playing RPGs almost the entire time. Persona 4 is, without doubt, the best game I've played since....like Sonic 2. I guess best isn't the right word, since there have been countless games that have had better production values and whatnot, but as far as fun goes, Persona 4 is king.

Even in a game like MGS4, which everyone knows I love intensely, had issues. No matter how good most games are, there's always a time where you feel like you're not enjoying yourself. However, for each of the 70+ hours I spent on this game, I enjoyed it thoroughly.

The style is great, battles are engaging, and the presentation is some of the best I've seen. Anyone who owns a Ps2 or a BC PS3 owns it to themselves to play this masterpiece. Although, it must be noted, as far as JRPGs go, this is the J-iest JRPG ever.

I'll probably borrow this from my girlfriend's brother. He has 3 and 4.

As for trying to recommend games, don't bother at GT. Except for Typhoid, nobody bought Valkyria Chronicles despite my pushing it into people's faces.

Yeah but that happened to be a PS3 game in which I didn't enjoy the demo.
An you tricked me, nothing like Skies. :(

The demo was terrible. All it gives you an idea of is the pace of the game.

It has a ton to do with SoA. Big Fucking Pirate Ships are now Big Fucking Tanks. :)

Own both 3 and 4 and though I'm still working my way through 3 (60 hours in) I'm looking forward to getting into 4 at some point in the summer.

"J-iest JRPG ever" pretty much covers it.

Great recommendation, absolutely worth playing.

I know, it's a travesty. Given how good that game was there's no way in hell it should have sold so few copies.

My friend has this and I saw it months ago sitting on the ground and paid no attention to it. All he told me is "It's a really fucked up jrpg".

I thought it looked interesting and was planning on borrowing it from him.
