This is a bit confusing but with Watchmen coming out this week was curious everyone's favorite movie based on a comic book that isn't exactly superheroics.

Sure, Watchmen has heroes, but I don't see it as a comic in the same vein as Batman or Spiderman.

Just to give some ideas
300
Sin City
V for Vendetta
League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
Wanted
Road to Perdition.

300 Definitely. I felt like such a man watching that movie, even if they did take a stab at gay people.

I still really enjoy watching V for Vendetta. Solid adaptation.

I could take this in so many directions.
There are too many options so I just won't say any.

You felt like a man after watching a bunch of Spartans put on speedos and lube each other up? I walked out of 300 laughing...it was a great stylistic work though.

Btw, Batman is without superpowers so doesn't that make him a contender for this list :p

I specifically mentioned him in the original question as I consider it a more traditional comic movie.

There was somethign about a History of Violence that just didn't strike me the right way.

I would include Wanted, but as far as I know only related to the comic in name.

Either Sin City (if just include Marv's story) or American Splendor.
