This is purely on the drafting stage, and in no way should be used by any member.

But was talking with Zen (has anyone noticed how often my threads now start with I was talking with...) and he was looking for news on the new Superman movie. And well was saying think I could write a pretty bad-ass Superman movie, but this isn't about the Man of Steel.

This thread we just randomly throw out stuff we want to see in an ultimate GT movie (doesn't need to be GT related). You know basic stuff like genre, characters, locations and the sort.

Then any specific scenes folks think would be awesome or lines of dialogue/exchange. Maybe non-nonsensical plot twists.

Well you know no movie is good with a guy walking towards the camera in slow motion while something blows up behind him and he is not phazed..... or a guy on a dirt bike, jumping off a rooftop and into a chopper that had been chasing him and bang bang, everybody in the chopper is dead!....ok the bike thing i actually saw this somewhere (i think) and i want to know where it was.

Hmm.. A film-noir, set in London, in the near-future. The main character is a detective who gets some kind of case (can't really think of details :)) and is sent on a cross-European trip. Every city brings him closer to the answer, but in the end, he's left with nothing but a question: Where in the world is Carmen Sandiego?

Ok, maybe the ending could be a bit different..

Combine 017

An average guy, trapped in the confines of City 17, who later becomes part of the resistance and has to escape the city before The Citadel explodes. He later finds a downed Combine Advisor and says "Advise this!" as he stuffs a grenade in its mouth thingy.
And then a headcrab jumps on his head.

END!

Oh fancy us!
We make movies so not good enough to just offer a suggestion to GTers.
SNOB!

So far the ideal GT movie would be a film noir set in the fantasy/futuristic world of City 17.

There will be a scene showing our young hero at a young stage where he must choose between the path of goodness and evil when a professor he feels has treated him unjust is hanging from a building. Does he pull him up or make him fall?

Flash forward to modern Europe where our hero has become a detective, he gets a call informing him of a case in City 17.

He attacks someone there with a 'nade and walks away as the person slowly blows up in the background.

a cross-European trip. I was going to say almost the same thing! It needs some sweet European cities. Like the Bourne movies.

Hm... the main character should be somebody easy to identify with.

Base a movie on various Priest, Minister and Rabbi jokes and cast Ben Stiller, Paul Rudd and Steve Carell.

Judd Apatow directs.
