Probably not much of a discussion thread per say, but curious what is the first film everyone saw in theatres or the first you remember seeing in theatres (don't always have to be the same movie :P)

I remember seeing Bambi when I was little. I had already seen so many commercials I was spouting the lines off as the characters were saying them. That's definitely the first theater experience I can recall.

I have slight memories of seeing A Land Before Time. It was released in '88 so I would have been about 3, so that seems accurate for a first memory..

That's the first movie I remember actually see in theaters too. There were a bunch of kids in there with the toys from McDonald's but my mom was wholeheartedly against fast food. :(

Before that I remember going to see Snow White (87) but I don't remember actually seeing it. I think i fell asleep.

More on Disney...the first time I tried to see the Little Mermaid the theater got sold out. The second time I was frightened by the giant Ursula. Scary stuff.

I saw TMNT. It might have been the second movie, I'm not really sure..

I think the very fist movie I saw in theaters was snow white, it scared the crap out of me. The next one was the power rangers movie, which was a whole lot better.

It's about some kids who travel into this other world with lizard-ninja-things.
I forget what it's called.

The first movie I remember seeing in theatres was Kazaam, sure it wasn't the first, but have a terrible memory.

That's what my first movie I remember seeing.
So it turns out the lizards were actually kangaroo people.

Bambi. That was in 1988, so I was about five years old.

Or

The Bear. Was also in 1988, don't know which came first. Hm, both movies were about animals which lost their parents. By right I should have a cinema trauma.
