Hmm, I am surprised that the teaser for part 2 slipped through the cracks or maybe I am terrible at searching but yeah this was announced at the VGA... well shown at the VGAs and now there are some new screens, but might have to post teaser as well. :lolz:

Uncharted was a really good game, and I loved the Indiana Jones story. But I don't know whether it was the character animation or the framerate, but the game always made me dizzy, and I got a headache when I played for more than an hour.

I hope the second one doesn't have whatever problem the first game had that made me dizzy.

I liked the first one well enough, but I hope combat is easier.

It hardly ever made sense to do since whenever you got someone in the position like 5 more people would be shooting at you so it didn't have its benefits.

with me its more like....i dont mind if they are wearing a mask ala mgs, but when you have the same guy with the same beard and the same hairdo wear different clothes, that is just lazy, i mean seriously? 3 to 4 head models maybe? feels like fighting agent smith.

Like all of my luck, I got into the Uncharted 2 beta, and been trying it out for the last few days. It is a pretty sweet experience.

One thing before I start, having a mic on the Ps3 seems to be a special occasion unlike XBL (I mean it comes with the console).

That said this game is pretty sweet, there will be comparisons to Gears of War with the main difference being what is mapped to the A/X button. In Gears its your all purpose roll/dodge/roadie run button in Uncharted its your jump button. So I feel that the characters are a bit slower in Uncharted but you get a lot more mobility in exchange for that.

Many of the stages are built on multiple levels and that gives you distinct advantages in some cases, but not always.

Like today while playing, I discovered it is possible to toss somebody off of a ledge if your hanging on it, I did it purely accidentally, but the kid I did it to started freaking out, he thought it was so amazing. :lol:

It also works the other way though while hangin there you are kind of an easy target, sure you can shoot and stuff but you don't have much mobility nor cover so.

And right now there are two modes in the game, a capture the flag-esque mode called Plunder, and Deathmatch. Nothing really special or different done with them.

One call thing I also found today... well used for the first time, are throwable exploding barrels, I set one up in a narrow tunnel and when an enemy came running through just blew it up in his face. :lol:

Reminds me of the other thing, like Halo you get medals that you exchange for money at the end of the game to buy stuff. So that exploding barrel got me a medal called BBQ.

I just played this. Man, I'm pretty impressed. This is going to be a great game. I'm wondering if the final product will have split-screen online multiplayer? So me and my roommate can play together online? Not enough games do that...

I also just tried the Lost Planet 2 co-op demo, a lot of fun! I'm getting excited for games again, I guess I haven't really been playing any for a while now.

I wish you did have one. That would've been awesome. I've always envied the TF2 nights you had. Go on, buy one. At least buy a cheap cell phone Bluetooth headset compatible with the PS3. Come on :)

BTW, you could hear me talk, right? I haven't had much of a chance to try the headset yet.

On another note, my connection was pretty good. Just a bit of lag, but since the game is slow-paced, it's not much of a problem. I could play with you anytime! :)

Oh the blasted game finally came in the mail.

So damn good, I think I played through about 75% of the game so far today.

There are so far, two nitpicks.. ish things I have with the game.

Well, I beat it in 2 days!
The game is decent length about 10 hours or so, but more difficulties and multiplayer so there's that.

As for my nitpicks, didn't want to spoil it but.

1) They literally have you replay the same exact scenario a second time, it isn't that long, but you do play it again

2Sometimes it isn't clear where you need to go.

And a new one,
3)You find enemies that literally eat bullets!

Some more just thought of

4)Drake goes through the first real mission with guns because he doesn't want to kill any guards so of course, it is a bit shocking that he has NO problem to toss a guard from several stores up to an abyss below

5)The enemy AI can be dumb as bricks sometimes.

For those who've had it for a while now, how the does the multiplayer stand up? does it have real lasting appeal? I know it was great from the little I played in the trial, but I'm still contemplating a purchase (once I actually own a Ps3, which will be soonish).

Oddly enough haven't touched it since got the game.

I think because it didn't seem to have much different than the beta, and would have to start at the bottom.

That said, I wouldn't mind a meet-up

I would get down on some Multiplayer with you guys. Personally, I think the multiplayer is great and absolutely has lasing appeal.

Oh and a Note to BAB's final gripe with the game...if you keep looking closely after you toss that guard off the rooftop, he falls down in the water, then if you keep watching he actually swims away...so you don't actually kill him.
