Thats the biggest problem right now. The cost of collecting is way too high to covert new comic fans, along with increasingly slow release schedules. The industry makes you broke and apathetic to the product.

There is a reason why I trade wait.

Yeah, as much as I hate to do it, I download my weekly comics and then buy the trades once they're collected for series I want to reread or take a closer look at the art.

Ever since a little Canadian kept having me find issues for him. :p

As for me, I only recently started comics in any great number... once again due to a certain Canadian because I felt bad that I got him back into comics and he was buying more than I was.

I still don't buy much usually the odd and end Batman graphic novel I haven't read and some single issues of stuff I enjoy. Right now mostly all Final Crisis or Faces of Evil issues.

And of course, the issue where Batman died. :(

As far as I know, Superman placed everyone in a microscopic world to prevent them from the collapse of time, and once everything was fixed. Bought them back.
