The Spectacular Spiderman

I know this show has a limited fanbase (as far as I know myself and Swan), but I shall share the joy with the masses.

This is probably the best animated comic series since Justice League Unlimited finish that is either high praise or an empty statement depending on how you look at it.

It is rich in characters has a well told overarching storyline and good enough narrative to stand on its own.

The animation is smooth, and the fight scenes well choreographed.

The first thing I noticed was that all the women have different hair color so that you can distinguish them from one another. They all pretty much look the same =P

Penguin pointed me to this thread, and I cant believe more people dont watch this, this show is amazing, I feel it has been closest spidey rendition to the comics we've gotten so far. I loved the 90's show like no other, but to me this one is right up there as well. (I have only seen season 1, yet to watch season 2). The only thing I didnt/dont like about it so far is the whole harry/green goblin thing.

Sean Galloway one of my favorite artists from the past few years is the person in charge of character design here.

I've already got mine pre-ordered.

The second season has wrapped up pretty much everywhere else besides the US, where it hasn't even started yet. It starts on Disney XD with the first two episodes on June 22 though.
