I know not a ton of people here actively read comics, but be warned this does contain spoilers to Final Crisis 6 so turn back if you don't want to spoil the event.

Meh, he'll be back. No one stays dead in comics.

Wasn't really feeling that death though. No emotional impact behind it. The best part of the issue was Tawky Tawny Vs. Kalibak.

Knew it was coming so yeah.

I'm interested to see who will wear the cowl before his eventual return.

And I'm still having trouble getting into Final Crisis

Looks like the Joker does get the last laugh.

Especially in the DC Universe, or Multiverse. They'll just pull another Batman our of some parallel dimension.

And after the Captain America death, this just seems to like a copy cat stunt.

I don't see the Captain America or Batman deaths being parallels or even copy cat.

the circumstances were so much more different, and really Batman was prepped to die with the whole RIP thing where as the Capt thing was more of a shocker.

As for him returning, I'm sure he will return, but I don't think it will be this year... or in a normal form... I've heard word of him returning as a Black Lantern, which honestly makes sense.

Thanks for that Ace. Scott McCloud is awesome. His books break down the medium into a science.

Well DC cheated just a bit.
I won't give away spoilers until I am certain that Swan read the issue.
