I think I might just skip the next two seasons and then watch all the episodes at once so I don't get cliffhanger rage. That's how I did it with Seasons 1-4. I never saw even the first episode until last summer, and then watched them all on ABC's high-def online player on my PC.

Cam, the lady at the end was the lady who was working at the ring store when Desmond wanted to buy penny a ring, and who explained to him about not being able to change the past/future etc.
