They should just throw out the whole ball part and just keep this.

You got something again Maori Hakas?
I think its a pretty cool thing to do before a match. Something VERY pleasing for the fans I might add, as my high school football team would do a little white washed version of that before each game as well.
...maybe the spears are pushing it though ;)

They're angry because their cheerleaders are half-naked dudes.

i wonder if they ever get carried away with it, and really start fighting?
all with those spears and... thong? omg, that green teams coach or whatever, is wearing a thong? no wonder there are almost no fans in the stadium... who would pay for that?

That's why I love watching New Zealand play Rugby.

If you don't get why they do it, it's native warchants from wherever the team is from, in order to pump themselves up, and "scare" the other team. Not every team has one, or does it, just some. The main team is obviously New Zealand, with the haka. I personally love the ambiance it gives to things.

I never understood the notion of cheer leaders. I mean I'm not complaining about grouping two of my favorite things...sports and tits....together.
I'm just saying. When it comes down to crunch time in a big game, no one gives a shit about the cheerleaders.

Looks like I was dead on...
