So, I'm planning on picking up one game for the 360 to play over Thanksgiving break. Any advice? I haven't been following anything videogame related since the beginning of this semester. :(

If you enjoyed the days of TF2 then id say get Left 4 Dead. It also has co-op campaign and hordes of zombies, with 4 vs 4 online. It will be amazingly fun but the only gripe I have is that its to short, but im sure they will release DLC for it in the near future.

Gears definitely. Fable II if you want a lengthier single player I guess, but I would still get Gears 2 and do Coop. What an amazing game.

Also, Banjo doesn't look that bad and it's really cheap, too!

I'd say Fable II.
Shooters are always going to be shooters, but if you want to dive deep into a game for days at a time, I'd say get a relative RPG-type game where you can immerse yourself in the entire ambiance.

Im still playing it and from what ive heard from other gamers TF2 is receiving the character updates(and maybe new levels?) hopefully by the end of this month.

And L4D is going to be way more fun than GoW. Hordes of zombies are way more fun to kill than hordes of locusts... or would it be swarms?
