That's a shame. I have (read) 11 of his books, I really liked them.

I still find it curiously interesting that he was 6'9.

You just don't see that many tall writers.

Ahh, in Timeline the people that went back in time were taller than everyone. I can see where he got the inspiration for those kinds of conversations then.

That really sucks. I remember reading his books back in Middle Shool and High School. He really was a good author.

At the very least he left behind a legacy. I don't doubt that he will be remember for a long time if not forever. Like Carlin or Bernie Mac, he really lived life to the fullest.

i remember reading the Andromeda Strain back in eighth grade; Jurassic Park, and the Lost World in my freshman year of high school, and Timeline, Congo and Prey up until this point; and i can say that they were all fantastic books. he'll hopefully live on to be one of the greats of all time.
