This really sucks. Sometimes I can't get onto the internet because of a rogue DNS... whatever that exactly means. Something about someone else on the network giving me a wrong IP address.
Any tips? Or do I just have to wait untill they found the guy?

Well if its a wireless router or something you can give it a password so no one else can access it.
Or maybe some other device has your IP address. Its happened to me before that my 360 took the IP address and I couldnt connect to the internet on my computer. Im not sure how I worked it out so both could have one, I think it figured itself out.

The helpdesk told me I just have to wait until they find the bastard. I just hoped that there was another solution. :(
And my wireless network is of course password-protected, but thanks for the concern.
