Didn't get a chance to post yesterday because well work makes you work at times and finding 20-30 minutes to type this up isn't easy. But shall see if can make up two parts today.

Shattered!
The window of Bond's office was blown apart. Glass flew in all directions. Three figures bathe in the early afternoon sun entered to survey their damage.

Bond pulled a large piece of glass out of his arm before he found the strenght to get back to his feet. His office was destroyed, but as he took in the situation he realized that may be the least of his troubles. At his window, three mysterious figures. At his door, battered and beaten, but still a threat, remained The Professor and he still had his lackeys with him.

The pain in Bond's arm bothered him, but crying out would do him no good at the moment. He needed backup, but he needed information even more. He hoped no one would notice him trigger the alarm in his belt for backup. Until it came however, he would attempt to keep the two groups busy.

While the sun made it difficult to see all the details, he tried to take in as much information on these new attackers, but nothing recalled anything he had ever seen in a GAMES file.

"Who are you?" Bond felt the direct approach may be the most effective.

"We are..." Magus got in two words before Raged smacked him upside his head.

"Thank you," Geo told Raged before turning to Bond, "Who are we? The great and mighty leader of GAMES does not know who we are. That is precisely why we are here today, Bond. You see for too long we have been neglected and rejected by our own brotherhood of evil. While we were once regarded as a minor threat in the criminal underworld, this last year has bought us nothing but hardship. No one would dare hire us or even be seen in our league. That all changes today. So who are we? We are the Thear Trio!"

Bond let out a minor grasp. He did not mean to show his hand, but he knew that name from many files.

"From your reaction, I see you heard the legends of Thear then. Well, were you aware of the fact that on the day of his disappearance, he scattered his powers into those he felt were worthy? Those powers found us! So imagine the most vile and evil being to walk this Earth now into three equally as powerful entities. Are you getting the picture now? Do you see why you should know who we are? Why you should fear us three more than anyone else on this planet? Today, we begin a new era... the era of Thear."

A slow, deliberate clap reminded Bond of the other group in his presence.

"Bravo... Thear Trio, was it?... That was a speech most fitting of an evil organization." The Professor wore an interesting smirk on his face. "So not to cut you off as you seem to be on a roll, but what was or is the plan?"

Bond appreciated The Professor helping him do his work, but felt something was off in his tone.

"Since you asked so nicely. We followed the sage of GAMES for the last year like I'm sure everyone else on this planet has. We saw as the cornerstones of this organization began to fall. We regretted that we were not responsible for it, but we applauded those who were. Of course, that was before our stock dropped. Then we saw the latest news, the demise of The Dude and Alpha. We knew it would be a prime chance to attack so we plotted and planned for a week, but it has paid off."

"Thank you for explaining the why, but I wanted to know the how. I came here to strike at the heart of GAMES. And I still intend to so as long as your business is not with Bond, I believe we are okay."

Bond now knew why The Professor's tone seemed off to him. The Professor was not assisting Bond, he simply wanted to make sure their goals did not interfere with his own selfish ones.

"We did plan on taking out Bond, but destroying the GAMES HQ would do us well. As for our means, we have the advantage of science on our side. For the last hour, I have filled this building up with air like a ballon. My associate here has already lit the fuse so this whole building will be going BOOM! shortly enough. As a matter of fact, I think we should take our leave soon."

The Professor had to act quick, he did not realize there plan would be so fast acting. "I know we've just met, but I like your style already. And seeing how you crashed our mini-reunion and shortened our window of opporunity. I was curious if you would assist my associates and I in a speedy escape."

The Thear Trio talked it over rapidly. Time was against everyone now. "Okay, you can come but outside of here you are on your own."

"Fair enough." The Professor now returned his attention to Bond, who grew worried as his backup should have been here by now. The Professor ordered the recovering Aladuf to grab Bond and head towards the window. Bond tried to fight off Aladuf but found his blows ineffective against him. As The Professor, Aladuf with Bond in hand, and Flunkie crossed the room. GAMES agents came bursting through the broken down door.

At the head of the pack was Jeepnut, who quickly identified his former teacher. "YOU!"

The Professor turned around and started to laugh. "He hired you? Really? You were a poor student at best. Bond, I am truly disappointed in you. Was he that good of a friend?"

Jeepnut simply made The Professor's words wash over him. "Bond hired me not because we are good friends, but unlike you he saw my potential laid beyond the textbooks. Point of business, let me show you one of my new toys."

Jeepnut pulled out what appeared to be a large cell phone out of his belt. "Looks like a simple cell phone, no?" Out shoot two extended wires, it wrapped around Bond's torso and Jeepnut with the aide of two other GAMES agents ripped Bond out of Aladuf's hands.

With their leader free, the GAMES agents opened fire on the 6 intruders.

"Other day for you then Bond," The Professor said.

Raged started torching the furniture to cover their exit while Magus led them all out of the building.

"Are you okay?" Jeepnut asked.

"No time. The building is about to blow up, we need to evacuate as many people as possible"

Work just hits the fan sometimes, hiding out after almost getting in trouble again. Got to love my squeaky clean record. :(
---------------------------------------------------------
Jeepnut began to quickly relay orders through his walkie talkie. He informed everyone to find the nearest emergency exit and distance themselves from the building as quickly as possible.

He then turned his attention to the group that was with him. "Everyone head to the roof, it is the nearest exit to us." Jeepnut held one final trick up his sleeve in the building.

As they made their way through the remaining floors, they picked up any injured or wounded agents in their path.

Finally, with a group of about a two dozen or so Jeepnut and Bond made it to the roof.

"Now that we are here where do we go?" Bond asked realizing they now stood miles above the ground with no clear escape route.

Jeepnut was too busy messing around with the air ducts to pay any attention to Bond.

"Jeepnut, did you hear me?"

"Aww here it is! You see over the course of the last few years I've been making some minor modifications here and there to the GAMES HQ. This is a last ditch effort for us, but it comes in handy today."

From out of the depths of the air duct, Jeepnut pulled out what appeared to be a giant remote control.

"What is that?" Bond had to ask.

"You see, I decided to deck the roof out as an escape hatch. I want everyone to stand close this may get a little rocky." Jeepnut put the giant remote into an outlet on the roof and started to play around with the dial.

After about 10 seconds, everyone felt the roof begin to shake. Bond rushed to the side to see that the GAMEs HQ was exploding but also that the roof had detached itself from the rest of the building. He cranked his neck a bit further and saw fuel sources underneath the roof.

"How long have you been working on this?"

"Quite some time, but if you think this is something. Wait until you see where we are heading."

The words did not comfort Bond.
-----------------------------------------
The Thear Trio along with their new associates made it to a nearby roof where they could watch the fireworks.

"I can't believe we did it." Magus shouted with his arms in the air.

Raged went to smack him once again, but Geo held him back. "Would you at least tell him to act like this is not something surprising."

Geo turned to Magus, "My friend go on and celebrate. Raged, look at it we are mere moments away from destroying the beacon of hope in this world. Imagine what will happen tomorrow when news of the GAMES HQ destruction spread. Imagine how infamous we will become so make him celebrate. We should all celebrate."

"You are correct, my new friend. Sadly, we failed our mission today." The Professor's tone was downbeat. Aladuf and Flunkie held their head in shame.

"Listen, I know what we said in there, but I think we want to continue this. We will help you..."

Geo cut himself off midsentence, he could not believe what he saw over at the GAMES HQ. Bond and a few others GAMES agents had made it to the roof.

"Should we go after him?" Aladuf spoke excitedly a chance to redeem his honor.

"What for? These guys said the buildings about to explode. Do you want to be there when it happens? And how will they escape the roof? It may be shallow, but at least I can watch Bond die."

The Professor and everyone else turned their attention to the building as the explosions began to rise. They all stared down tracing its path, but they saw something remarkable on the roof. Or what use to be the roof. It had detached from the building... and was it flying? They all stared in awe.

"That son of a bitch did it."
