This is the first time, I think going to do a section entirely from memory. Partially because I am too lazy to go to the other unit to get my bag and because I changed a lot on my ride to work.

Canadian Stampede
The moon crept eerily into Nighthawk's room. The trees danced in its shadow. The wind howled like a wounded animal. However, none of these were the reason Nighthawk remained up on this night.
No Nighthawk had found that his dreams had once again bought him back to that day so many years ago. As it always did, his mind fixated itself on his destiny. Would it ever come true? Was that man, was it even a man, just messing with his head?
Then that searing pain returned. It always came when his mind wandered over that night. The pain was short lived, but Nighthawk always had this funny feeling that someone was peeking into his mind. He knew it was only his imagination but this pain was always accompied by it.
He shut his eyes to relax his mind but then he got a vision. The vision came in a bit fuzzy, but it was not of him. No as he watched on, the vision did not seem to be of an event past, but an event on-going. There were two men laid out on the ground. They seemed to be in pain.
Nighthawk reached out to grab them, but they vanished. Then another sensation came over him. It felt... yeah it felt like the wind but he had shut his window. He opened his eyes, he was floating... no he was flying. He turned left... he turned right. He could control his movement. Was his destiny coming true?
He closed his eyes again. In his vision, he had swept down to save those two poor souls. Maybe, it would lead him to them.
He was off.

"You two boys never learn, do you." Dyne spoke as he joined Dylflon.
"No, no. I guess death will be their penalty." Typhoid rushed to join his comrades.
"I will take this kill, I believe." Dylflon said as he pulled a knife from his pocket. "I want to watch them scream in pain as I slowly peel away their skin."
"No fair, you got the last kill. I want to drill inside their skulls and watch as the blood is drained down their eyes."
"You folks are a tad morbid. I just want to fill them up with water and watch as they pop like ballons. Hahaha."
"You know what. Why don't we all enjoy it. We can take in their deaths." Dylflon began licking his lips as they closed in on their prey. He enjoyed the taste of fear. Wait... what he sensed was not fear... it was... confidence... "Hold on!"
But it was too late, Dyne and Typhoid had gotten too close. Swan and Fox who had recovered while The Coalition bickered amongst themselves sprung into action.
Fox extended his arms out tripping up Typhoid before he could move in. Swan wrapped himself around Dyne like a snake. He then uncoiled sending him flying into Dylflon.
"You see we do learn!" Fox announced.
"And it looked like you boys are all tied up!" Swan joked.
They took a fighting stance as the Coalition returned to their feet.
"I liked it better when we had the advantage." Dyne whined.
"Yeah. It sucks, but no one said we would keep it a fair fight." Dylflon pulled a remote from his belt. "I would like to re-introduce you two to an odd friend." Several Combine soldiers appeared around Fox and Swan. "Let me introduce Combine and Combine and Combine... You get the idea."
Fox and Swan could not believe their eyes. Was it really Combine? Had the Coalition succedded where they failed?
Dylflon sniffed the air. Oh yes, that's what he needed. The smell of grief. The scent of doubt. He took a perverted pleasure in the discomfort of his former friends. Now was the time to act.
"Do not rub your eyes nor attempt to pinch yourself. This is not a dream! Yes, we did locate Combine as we promised we would so many years ago. What do you two have to show for all your hardwork?"
These words should not be getting to us, Fox and Swan thought, but in the back of their heads they knew Dylflon was right.
"Yes, our poor friend abandoned by two of his closest companions so they could go play heroes elsewhere! But how could you save the world if you couldn't even save those that were close to you!"
Tears began building up in Fox and Swan's face. Their emotions aroused Dylflon. This was child's play.
"We... the "villains" were the ones who never gave up. No matter what we did, our goal was always the same. To locate our friend. And we did it. Without your help!"
This was the moment, Dylflon had waited for. Fox and Swan were at their most vulnerable emotional state. Dylflon gave a thumbs up to Dyne.
Dyne encased his two former friends in a giant water bubble. They would die alone. They would die full of self doubt. And they would die today.

So yeah A LOT changed from what I remembered writing.
