Hardest RE Enemy?

Well, what do you think?

Zombies? Zombie Dogs? V-ACTs? Hunters? Wasps? Giant Spiders? Chimeras?


That's the first half of the poll...Now for the second:

Which do you think is hardest boss-like enemy? Don't pick Tyrant, because we all know how hard he is :p

Well, for hardest enemy...I picked V-ACTs. Sometimes they are annoying and a lot of times they get you by surprise. They are more abundant if you don't burn the bodies. If you do burn the bodies, I guess the hardest enemy would be a hunter. Those things are fast, but aren't abundant.

And for hardest boss-like enemy, it has to be Lisa Trevor. Plant 42 was a joke. Neptune..Ahahaha. Yawn didn't even touch me when I first fought him. Lisa would be the hardest, in my opinion.

The hardest enemy I'd say is... hunters... even though they're still not hard... unless they come up behind you and jump or something...

And the hardest boss is... well the bosses are all so fricken easy... even the tyrant... But I'll just say... the plant... cuz the first time I met yawn, I didn't even fight it... and the second time I met Yawn, I didn't even get bitten by it... of course, that was on easy :D

and the plant... the first time I fought it I didn't notice it sometimes had a shell around the part you're supposed to hit... and it knocked me off the ledge a couple times... and spit on me... plus I was playing as Chris so I only had a shotgun...

Neptune? That's the shark, right? All you do with that is push the thing in the water and pull the switch ZAP... I was even reading a strategy guide (after beating the game of course :D) and when I came across the place where you fight the shark, it even said to just shoot it a bunch (and noted that you should have enough ammo)... and I'm thinking "WTF? I figured out the thing you toss in the water and electrocute it with the first time I was there" :p

And lisa you don't even fight, you just run from soooo.....

Well if you save the self-defense gun you can kill Neptune in 1 shot. I used like a million flae rounds on it, and it died. Then I pushed the thing in the water and it died again.

But if you meet Neptune in the tank getting to the room.... oooh boy.

Which strategy guide did u have? I have the Brady Games one and it says to electrocute it. Also, on the subject of Brady, there are a few things in that guide that they either forgot or said the wrong direction. But overall, its the best::)

Nah I use gamefaqs... that's what I meant... And I only look at them for secrets, or looking at stuff after beating the game :D :sneaky:

Or plot guides... those are usually my fav. Faqs... so fun to read :D

Hard choice, but I voted Hunters. Second would be the dogs, which are just too damn fast. The crimsons were kinda hard at first (and especially freaky when they all of a sudden lunge up from the ground), but they're easy to avoid because of how they attack. As in, when they finally get to you, they lunge at you so all you have to do is turn to the side, and they miss. Only time they suck is when you have no room to get around.

I thought the Chimeras were the most annoying. And I thought the spiders were the creepiest. Hunters are hard but they aren't scary whatsoever; I think the zombies are creepier.

Spiders aren't hard at all, but there was one time that I was in a hallway that went left and right, and when I aimed Jill she turned to the left so I knew there was something there and somehow I figured out it was a spider and it was up on a wall as usual. So I went to the right of the hall first to see what was there. Then I came back, camera angle changed, and HOLY **** the damn thing was right there... The one thing in the game that really scared the **** out of me.

Anyway, as for bosses, I don't think any were hard. Snake you just run away from really easily or around the bookcase when you really have to fight it; Shark you electrocute; you can avoid the Plant fight; Lisa you just give that gun to Barry, let him die while you push those boulders off the ledge and Lisa then jumps; that vampire dude wasn't hard (but the coffin and blood falling out all over the place was creepy); and even Tyrant was easy, just run around that thing and shoot at him. I got really lucky with Tyrant, too, cause I didn't know I was about to fight him so I didn't even bring my Magnum, and with my last shot of ammo I killed him.

I guess thats all not answering the question, though, because I avoided the fights on most. So I guess Lisa is the hardest if you really have to fight her, because she can jump over that middle thing. Either her or Tyrant.

Of course, this is all on easy and I haven't played through again yet. :D

I'd say that hunters are the hardest...although, three shotgun blasts blows the **** out of em. :D I thought the P-ACT is easy...flash grenade anyone???:D

It's V-act... :D and y'know what's better than flash grenade? Shotgun blast to the head... they run at you and right when they move to swing at you... pull ze trigger and POP... it's quite fun :roll: And it's arm kinda swings and then it runs past you a couple steps and falls to the ground... :D satisfiying :burger:

Chimeras... 1 magnum round and their head explodes... there's only 1 chimera you really have to kill, and that's the one blocking the area going to the place where the fuel capsule goes (I am getting this right, right? Chimeras are the things in the lab's power area and such?)... unless you want to save Chris/Jill, then you gotta kill 1 more on your way to getting to one of those mo-disk transmitter things... Otherwise you can just run right past them... it's fun going through the power house... They're popping out of all the vents and I just run right past all of them :D

Just thought I'd go over all that...

Oh and dogs... if they're in groups, the shotgun does the trick... if you get one alone, a handgun will do... if it attacks you, just use a defense item... and if you can't, boo hoo, they don't do much damage :p

Zombies... how can they be the hardest? They're slow... the only way they'll hurt you is if you let one get too close, it backs you into a corner and you can't knock it down in time, or you're out of ammo or something...

And as for boss-like enemies, I forgot to mention that you left out the big spider... that's supposed to be a boss, although it takes like 2 flame rounds to kill...

As for normal spiders... they're all in positions where you can just run past them...
