MGS 4 completely dropping out of the top 10 is kind of interesting, but it saw the same cycle in Japan.
NCAA Football shows whats gonna happen in August with Madden.
Rock Band Wii sold decently well seeing how months late and gimped. Probably shouldn't have sold.
Mario Kart remains strong.
GTA is missing for a second month in a row. Kind of weird

360 version of SCIV outsold PS3 SCIV. That's actually a damn shame.

So MGS4 only managed to be in the top 10 for its first month? And GTA 4 fell out of the top 10 on all platforms after 2?

I'm really happy I'm not an industry analyst right now.

Considering MGS4 is one of the best games I've played in the past few years, this is somewhat upsetting.

Thankfully MGS4 has sold a ton worldwide in its first month.

I heard one of the 360 models got a price drop about a month ago. Is that true?

It did, but its sales were weird.

As for the "price" drop, it is about as real as any other. One model dropped to 300 so they could put in a new model at the older price. Multiple SKUs really screw people up.

The 20gb 360's dropped $50 in a "clearance" by MS to get rid of existing supply to ramp up for the 60gb at the price of the now dead 20gb. Though there is supposedly another price drop coming which is overdue for the 360
