I'm finally going to purchase a new phone, after 2.5 years with the terrible RAZR..

I can't decide between the Samsung A737

The Samsung looks way better. Go for it.

I have an A737!
Though I couldn't tell you any reliable impressions given the fact that I never use cell phones for anything other than making calls, and I usually have nobody to call, so I rarely make calls.

I've had horrible history with Samsung phones. The reception was horrible with my Samsung phones, which surprised me, as I generally like their products.

I would get the Ericsson. No real reason really, I just like it. :)

I would go with the Sony Ericsson.

1. you don't need 3G unless your going to pay for a data plan.

2. the sony has a 2.0 Megapixel camera to the samsungs 1.3. I know you'll enjoy that moe.

3. Sony Ericssons have a good reputation for reliability

4. SE makes a better MP3 player software than samsung

5. The SE looks better :D

I've had both, and I can say that the SE one is probably a better bet.

The only I saw with those is that the firmware was a little sluggish for me.

Other than that, it was great.

SE.

The Sony Ericsson has a slightly higher review score at this prominent cellular phone site:
