I think I got all of those in there somehow.

Basically, we are less than a week (actually like 4-5 days off) from the annual e3 convention. Now this is the second year of the changed format, which I believe was changed again this year anyhow.

But the show is on a smaller scale, which could be good or bad who really knows. Most importantly, the big 3 will be there.

And it shall be a most interesting e3 for them all.
Nintendo is the reigning King of the Ring, but while there performance is dominant. No one has flocked to their kingdom. This e3 shall prove most interesting. Going in there are only a handful of 3rd party games that look interesting. And aside from a few minor titles like Wario Land and Mario Sluggers, we know next to nothing about the reminder of the year line-up for Nintendo. So e3 shall hopefully be the time they blow the lid off of that.

What does everyone expect from them? All of their major franchises have been released.
Maybe it is time for the B-Squad to move in. Games like Paper Mario, something from Donkey Kong, Kirby, StarFox, F-Zero, Fire Emblem, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Mario sports and so on and so on.

As for 3rd parties, the Wii has been getting some interesting announcement, but most still treat the Wii as some weird device when we get spinoff titles like the Castlevania Fighter.

Microsoft They seem to be the most set in their way. While they may have a ton of surprises up their sleeves, I think most of it was blown on that leak a few weeks ago. And most of their marquee titles for this year have already been shown to some capacity.

What is in store for them? Where is Bungie now? Does Rare have anything cooking other than Banjo? Will we see changes to the marketplace? Something to resemble Miis/Home? More casual friendly titles? A new SKU? A price drop?

Sony Will release e3 conference 2.4242424 which will go down unannounced and be back up within a week. ;)

But they are in a similar position as MS with knowledge of key titles such as Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 already out there. But there is a lot more they could have up their sleeves. Will we hear more about the 50k Final Fantasy 13s coming out? What else is square Enix cooking? More features for the Ps3-PSP connectivity? Is a price drop in their future? More details and solid release date for Home and LittleBigPlanet?

Well as always e3 is a fun time to be a gamer. I shall update this post with times of press conferences and places streaming them.

I only want Banjo. Scrap E3, I want it's name to be changed to B3.

E3 has given me a raging game boner. And it's not going away. There is so much I hope to see from all three companies.

I have to say that I'm not too excited about E3 this year. Why am I not? I'm not too sure.

I just want to see a tidbit of a new Mario, Zelda, or Metroid game. That's all i care about right now.

I don't foresee any megaton announcements from anybody. Meh..

I'm curious about Kid Icarus. I'd love to see a Zelda teaser and some other new games (Pikmin, F-Zero?).

Half Life 3 episode 3 is all im really hoping and somewhat expecting to see.

I highly doubt Nintendo will show off any new Mario, Zelda, or Metroid.
