I know this is a dumb question but I dont recall hearing a date as to when Nintendo was going to release the cable. The last I heard was that they would wait to release it on store shelves until a game of their own would use it. The reason I asked was cuz when I was in NYC (April 18-22) I saw the cable in a plastic bag saying Genuine Nintendo Product and inside was the cable and the insturction booklet at an EB store in the concourse. (I bought it on the 19th). And it was only $10! So I thought what the hell, I haven't seen it any where else around here yet. So I bought it and it did work when I did have SA2B. And it is a "Genuine Nintendo Product". Has anyone else seen the cable on store shelves?

It has been released about a month ago in the US I thought?? Edit: Yeah I knew it had been released for quite some time!
Not sure if it's already released in EU.

It's been released in the US since last year sometime. Came out same time as SA2:B. You just gotta order it online.

No, and nintendo does not appear to have plans to make a store release very soon. So If you dont order it online, you can get a third party one.

If it is not on store shelves, then how come I was able to buy it at an EB's (Bought on April 19th when I was in NYC)? It wasnt in a plastic case like all Nintendo accessories are basically. When I bought it, it was in a small plastic bag that said "Genuine Nintendo Product". it had the cable and instruction booklet in it. It was the only one there. The only thing that might be logical is that someone traded it in for credit or something, But I'm not sure.

It's online exclusive. Someone must have traded it in, or returned it via the store. It probably won't hit store shelves until nintendo has a game that needs it.
