I feel like if I were 80 years old I would have died from a heart attack by now. Why does something have to crash through every window?

I think I'll go play Mega Man now..

Shut up

.... :D

It doesn't scare me... but what fingersman mentioned about RE2 did kinda... like I remember one time you "knock him down" (or whatever you wanna call it) in this one room... so you leave the room and run down a hallway... and he busts right through the wall... no cutscene or no pause or nutin, he just busts right through the wall :D

But jumping out and yelling boo isn't necesarily SCARING someone... :sneaky:

Resident Evil isn't scary. The only thing that made me jump was that "dead body" in the hallway to get the armor key. I swear, I always thought that thing was dead. Then, when I got the fake key, I was running towards the door to get that armor key, when that "dead body" got up and ran to me. The sad thing is, I blew its head off with a hand gun. :D

Besides that, RE isn't that scary..

The zombie in the bathroom that attacked Jill- Not scary.. I thought it was hilarious when Jill had to..well, I won't spoil it ;)

The 2 times zombies crash through the window- Not scary because I expected it.

Dogs crashing through the window- Not scary.

Forest getting up from the dead and attacking- Bah :p

Another thing that made me jump was the "super" zombies...I should've burned their bodies. Walk towards them and a mistake that could be one your last......Of couse, not even those more aggresive zombies have killed Jill yet. Jill rules.

Well I'm playing this kind of game for the first time ever. I never played a horror/survival game ever before, so it is kind of scarry (I haven't watched movies of this kind either). Plus I am not going by a guide, so no spoilers of anykind. But I learned fast that I can run around normal zombies, so I have plenty of munition and gaz. I hope that's enough for I have no clue how much of the game I have to play. I just got to that V-jolt liquid room. I have no clue what it is for or how to get rid of those useless bottels.

It's just scarry enough to make me actually control my play time (play 1 hours to learn the next step, then reset and do only what is really needed and then save and let go of it until next day. Compared to this I was beating RS, Spider-Man, Batman, Luigi, etc by playing until I couldn't stay up anymore.

Damn right...I knew I wasn't the only one. :D
Man i was so glad when I wasted him in the end....oh yeah that part when he crashed through the wall....I had to pause...and sit down for a while and ...the other part when the guy jumps up from the ground floor to the second ...was pretty surprising because I wasn't expecting it.

I don't think I laughed, but I said something along the lines of "sweet!"

Whew. I killed my first new zombie (hunters?) with big claws and jump really high, but the second one killed me in one attack. I only had the hand gun with me when I met the second one.

These guys aren't as scarry as the first zombies coming trough the windows or jumping up after killed, but they sure can kill me. One swipe and I was down. But I don't have much Shotgun amo, what can I do? I bet the Magnum is for later and the same with the grenade launcher, plus they are alos low on amo

DeathsHand

I use the grenade launcher and shotgun on the hunters... there aren't TOO many hunters, and they don't take too many hits (2 or 3 shot gun shots up close, and 1 to 2 grenade rounds... just the regular grey/blue ones, not the flame or acid ones)... I save the magnum for later use (like the last boss and such)... hunters are really the most powerful non-boss enemy in the game, methinks... soooo use your big weapons... you can also use your magnum on them, they take like 1 or 2 magnum shots... but I like to save my magnum ammo since it's very powerful and shoots pretty fast... which is good when you get the last boss walkin' towards ye

I ain't gonna front, RE turned me into a lil b!tch when I first played it.

I swear, I always try to play this game late in the night/early morning, and I've found my self doing the most wussies sh!t I've even done in a game.

-- Whispering to myself. Stuff like "I don't like the looks of this hallway, those bastards could pop from anywhere." I mean, wtf.... it's not like they'll hear me if I speak aloud. That's credit to the mood/atmosphere the game creates I guess. Either that or I'm just a b!tch in disguise. hmmm

-- Staring at specific parts of a scene for a while. thinking; "that's bush looks suspicious, maybe if I stay here for a while, whatever's in it will come out eventually."

-- Take a while to build some confidents up before I progress down a suspicious path looking walkway.

but here are the two that takes the cake.

-- Taking a deep breath before walking through certain parts of the game. Not just taking a breath though. Taking a breath and actually holding that mofoo until my immediate fear is conquered.

-- Walking backwards down some paths. If something freaky happens up ahead I can easily make a dash away from it, back to safety, since your already facing that direction. If something freaky happens behind you, you'll most likely see it, since your facing that way.

Say whatever, but that last one is ingenious! I call it... "puss-walking" :D

Seriously though, that's when you allow a game go to your head. The atmosphere around you tends to warp, and suddenly, your real atmosphere diminishes, and the setting of the game becomes your true and only setting.

I find that when I'm not that attatched to the game, those pathetic tendencies are pretty much non-existent. It's really fascinating when you think abou it. I'll call it the concept of "Atmospheric Warp."

Okay...something else made me jump. That thing is Lisa Trevor. I met her for the first time in the cabin. She looks hot with the chains and the bag over her head along with her rotting skin. :stud:

I havent beat it yet... mostly cause i dont have much time to play it lately... but.. yea it is a pretty scary game to me.. heh..

most of the time im just like "its just a videogame... what the hell".. and i kinda ignore the creepy music and strange settings.. but sometimes i cant get myself to walk down a hallway cause im sure a window is gonna break and im not 100% sure on how im gonna deal with whatever comes out of it...

lol.. one time i was walking outside.. i cant remember where.. but i heard a russle in the bushes.. and since the camera angle was from behind jill at the time... i didnt notice that a zombie dog or whatever they are jumped into the path... so i was walking along normally... and the dog didnt attack me right away.. which is good because i didnt notice.. but the main reason i didnt see it was because i was looking around for anything suspicious.. not at jill.. and since the angle was from behind her.. the dog only showed up when it was within a few feet... so suddenly im looking.. "la la la..." .... ... and then i spotted it.. and i dont think i have ever pressed pause so fast in my life... i was like "WTF!?!?" i had no idea how it got there.. heh.. to me it was as if it popped out of nothingness... anyway i grabbed the shotgun and made little work of him.. but it was still probably the scariest moment in the game so far for me... thats kinda funny too because its not something that was planned in the game.. it was just based on my stupidity for not noticing a zombie dog right infront of me.... heh..

but thats another thing about the game... after the initial fear or whatever... i get REALLY pissed at the zombies.. and after a while i just go on a rampage through the house not really doing anything right but just going around and shooting the **** out of anything that comes close to me.. hehe... thats the fun part of the game..

btw... anyone else think that jill's electric taser defense thing is like... really cool!?

cuz i do.. this game rocks :D

p.s.- this is my first time playing any resident evil game ever.. and also any game of this genre...

Horror games are scary for me when I'm alone, especially around midnight. But if a friend, or my sister is watching I don't get scared at all.
