Does anyone know what would cause certain elements of web pages to not load, sometimes including entire web pages? Whenever I visit certain websites, like weather.com and gamespot.com, certain ads always display the "timed out" message (I'm on firefox).
Gamefaqs won't even load at all, it times out as well.
This happened around the time I got firefox 3, but no one else is having the problem, and it happens on Flock and Internet Explorer too. I've tried disabling Windows Defender and my firewall, but i get the same problem. I checked the HOSTS file in the system directory, and deleted all appearances of gamefaqs and gamespot, but still no dice. I've checked my security and privacy settings on firefox, but nothing suspicious there either.
This leads me to believe it's something wrong with my wireless router than I recently bought, but I have no idea what settings I could have set that would cause this to happen.
Anyone have any ideas?
