The long-awaited Wii title World of Goo will hit store shelves instead of WiiWare in Europe, according to the developers of the game, 2D Boy.

It's not going to be a budget title, but I don't know if it will be "full price" either. This up to RTL and their distribution network to figure out.

I was really looking forward to this game, as a €15 download. There's no way I'm going to pay €40 or more for this. :(

Well, at least it won't take up the space. :)

And there's cheap Wii games, like $15-20, made by Data Design Interactive. (Of course, they suck hard.)

I think I'd hate playing this on the PC with a mouse. Besides, the Wii version supposedly has coop-play.

They're trying to give Europeans some extra crap, but I still think it's a very bad move.

The first game, Tower of Goo (http://www.experimentalgameplay.com/game.php?g=17), we release on PC only, and it was fine.

I was hoping that this wouldn't happen. :(

Yep. It's extremely basic compared to what World of Goo is offering, but it's still free.

Yeah I noticed. But still nice. :) Thanks for the link. And I still think this would controll better with a Wiimote.

The Wiimote is too inaccurate for me. I think a mouse is fine. :)
