More Metal Gear Solid 4:

I thought we could have a bit of an update on everyone's (Dyne, Aladuf, Flunkie (?)) playthrough so far. Definitely not as long as last week though.

Gears of War 2 Multiplayer Footage:

There wasn't any violent opposition to putting musical transitions in the actual podcast and stuff. What do you guys think? Should I attempt it this week? I think it would keep listening interest high for those who aren't used to listening to podcasts. :)

I think it would be best if we avoided Gears.... :sneaky:

Also, I think for the sake of editting especially if Dyne is gonna add music in between segments. We should take short 1-2 minute breaks so there is some dead air to cut. And also so it doesn't seem like a mumble of people talking.

Also may or may not be able to make it this week.

And if everyone is ok, I think Bluefire may be the 6th wheel this week. If you folks are still interested in a guest rotation.

I still think six is too many. I wouldn't listen to a podcast with six people that I can't physically see.

Should we maybe start planning on a backup person for BaB? He's not been around here for about a week. I see he popped up in here for a post or two but for the most part that's been it for him. I'd talk to him on AIM but he's not been there either.

P.S. I have to travel to another hospital tomorrow for work, so I may be a little late.

I won't be able to do it tomorrow. I've got a double header at home, and won't be home 'til late - at least two hours after we usually record.

hmm, since flunk and BaB don't seem like they'll be there maybe we should just put up a thread calling for like a "B squad" for the podcast? Let another group of folks do it instead of us? I mean, keep the normal host(s) and bring in another 2-3 people.

For example, Dyne and Bond you two can stay on and me, flunkie, and BaB will take the week off for this one while you guys fill the spots up with some new blood.

Also, we HAVE to cap it off at 25-30 minutes next week. I clocked in at 40 minutes of talk tonight. The extra ten minutes takes a lot of time to edit. :(

As I said in the public thread, the loop at the beginning is 'LOL' material. And the music is good. I almost want to include a list of music used for each show. Because I definitely want to download some of it. :D

Anyway, podcast was updated to site. GameTavern is now searchable in iTunes.

Also, thanks! Yeah, I can put together a list of music used. I'm trying to keep it to a minimum what with copyright stuff and all, but I'm pretty sure we'd be fine because it's only for fun and not for profit.
