I seem to remember a movie about a guy who I think pretended to be a doctor, and there was a climactic scene where he was backed into the end of an underground water pipe, which was gushing water out into a body of water way below. And he jumped.

What the hell movie am I thinking of?

Ok, while we're helping each other figure out movies you guys can help me with this one... sorry if the details are a bit fuzzy, I remember I saw this years and years ago when I was a kid so I don't remember it perfectly.

There was this guy and at one point in the movie (I think it was near the end) he was at a pay phone calling someone and then he got all shot up while he was in there.

Another part of the movie that I can think of was pretty much at the end I think I remember a bunch of cops or something outside of a house and then the garage door opens slowly and someone (a woman I think) walks out.

I have been trying to figure out this movie for years.

The Fugitive? That's the first one I thought of as well. :) Even though Ford didn't pretend to be a doctor, he really was one.

Sorry Aladuf, can't think of any movie I've seen..

Edit: Oh, I have one too!
It's an old children fantasy movie. At one point there's this guy (knight? prince?) on a white horse that goes through a misty area with a path alongside a wall like these:

It was obviously filmed in a studio. The wall and path went in a half circle and it was spooky.
I think I remember a girl, but I'm not sure. I was probably 10 when it was on TV, so I think it has to be older than 15 years.

That description makes me think of The Princess Bride, but I don't think that's the movie you're talking about.

where does the dialogue along the lines of "don't make me use my quarters to call the real cops" come from

Look here steakhead,

I didn't ask for your 2 bit opinion of what was easier or harder and I am not complaining, (Believe me you'd know it if I was complaining) I asked a simple question. I didn't ask for a lecture on how you or anyone else does things.

No, it's not The Princess Bride, but thanks. :) Maybe I should watch The Labyrinth and that other cult classic.
