GTA IV no mission icons! Im stuck!

So yes...... Im about 75 percent through the game. There are no god damn mission icons anywhere. Ive tried calling people and taking people out. There are no side missions left cuz ive done them all. WTF. I havent had Romans wedding yet......... I have no idea whats going on.....

So ive been reading around and it appears that a bunch of pepole have the same problem, but not at the same point in the game........ Some people said theyve managed to fix this and others say that there isnt a way to fix it. Its all speculation. But seriously! What the fuck. Ive invested too much time into this game just to have a stupid glitch ruin it all. Its the developers job to make sure this kind of thing doesnt happen. Im so pissed right now.

pest control. The UL paper guy is supposed to phone me abot darko brevic but nope....... its been about 2 in game weeks since I did that mission.

My suggestion would be just to go to the UL paper and see if the marker is there.

there were a few glitches with that game. I needed to get on a boat one time and there was a blue marker showing where to go. I went to the boat, but the dumbass Neku didn't drive it, just sat there. My advice is .....play MGS4 :)

Nothing seems to be working. Im just going to shelf it..... start playing Mass Effect again.

I had the same problem....it turned out that the Packie Icon for the Packie missions was not showing up on the map.

When I went to the location the yellow arrow was there. This map can help find mission start locations.

Yeah, what mana posted is exactly what I meant. Even though it's not showing up on your midimap, the yellow marker should still be at your destination. So, I would check all of your friends' houses: UL Paper, Packie, Bernie, and whomever else.

this happened to me too. Before the wedding sometimes if you get called to late in the day about it, the event won't start. So you have to run around and kill time until the next day.

Kate will call you again and then you can go pick her up. Just run around and do stuff until then.

Since this is a thread about GTA, Im stuck on missions and have no idea how to beat it.

It's the mission for the crooked cop (the name escapes me, since I've been stuck on it for no reason), where you're atop a roof, and have to snipe someone in a building across the street, but you have to draw him to the window.
And for the life of me, I have no idea how the hell to draw that bastard to the window.

What, really? His phone number is on his phone in the bottom right of the window. Call it to get him to get up, and then you can pop a cap in his ass, or however the youngsters say it.

The phone number is obstructed a little, and I waited so long that Packie's brother called me and said to LOOK for a phone number. So the phone thing is definitely the way they want you to do it. I couldn't see the last two numbers so I guessed, and I got it right.

I either shot the TV or the window. Not sure. But that mission was rather easy
