Surprise PS3 thread!

Since this is entirely its own entity from MGS4 AND any PSN IDs, why don't we start a MGO thread? :) It's a bitch to get signed up and updated and stuff, but once you have it it's pretty sweet!

Anyways, my first character is named dynendal for those who are interested in trying this out. I don't know if we contact eachother by Game ID or character ID or what. But my Game ID and character ID are the same.

I hated MGO from MGS3, so I doubt I'll be participating in this title. I have a question though, that's a little off subject. Do any of you guys with MGS4 have Dual shock 3? If so, do you think its worth getting for this game?

I did a run thorugh MGS2 and 3 before playing this one.. even though I'm enjoying it a ton, I am noticing that I don't have the rumble anymore. Not sure if I should spend $55 to find out if its better too. <.<

I'll give it a try once I'm done with single player. I thought I'd play some MP while still playing the SP but that's before I got the game. Now that I'm actually playing SP I don't want to do anything else until I'm done.

I may give it a try soon. If it like the first one online I'll hate it though. Towards the end before konami ripped down the servers, there was just a bunch of people using action replay and cheats online.

I remember thinking this 4 on 1 sneaking game would be cool in concept, but every time I played it, some cheater would win in 10 seconds. And people would do it ALL day long. Not sure how that's fun. <.<

You have to be in a non-automatching server. I think it's Free Battle. So, as long as one of you are in there, the other goes to Friends List, selects your name, and chooses join game.

so what do I do? I chose to move to your game but it just gave me a list of games.. How do I know which you're in?

It should have a little FR icon that denote a FRiend is in the game.

Good shit guys! After my first night of MGO my personal stats are:

Kills: 18
Deaths: 10

That match that was just the 3 of us was great! Team GT :)

haha agreed I suppose, but why did you want to be on the other team so much? It's not like when you were on whatever team I was on we were doing bad, since I didn't lose a round all night.

Yeah, I always tried to switch over to your guys' team. We were kicking all kinds of ass! And I was First in every one of our 12 matches, hellz yeah.

I think for the most part once I hit my groove in the game after the first two or so rounds I was getting 3rd and 4th place each time.
