So, I have one.
Now, a question that's been plaguing my mind for the entire time I've had it.

It has USB ports, and we all know you can plug in cameras/mp3 players etc, to transfer files.

But if you have a portable USB drive-thing, would it be possible to load saved data from the PS3, onto the USB key, and onto another PS3?

IE. Me going to Phil's, copying his rock band file, and transporting it onto mine so I don't actually have to download songs.

Yeah, except Rock Band is (I think) the ONLY game on the PS3 that doesn't allow you to do that.

Try to do the PSN sharing thing, maybe that could work to where he could just get your downloaded games for free.

Aladuf's right on the money because he's seen the Rock Band bullshit first-hand on my PS3.

Goddamnit.
That was the entire reason I made the thread.

Rock Band seems to be the only exception, for some odd reason.

It becomes a real pain when you have to re-unlock all the damn songs. :/

Brawl was the same way. That shit was annoying. When I went to visit BLue in Boston we hit way past the 30 hour total playtime mark and unlocked a shitload of stuff. Tried to copy it and NOTHING. Total shit.

A lot of European gamers will have to buy Super Smash Bros. Brawl again because Wii 3.3 blocks the freeloader.
