Get ready for more “Turok.” Our colleagues at the MTV Movies Blog have learned that a live-action version of the comic book and video game character is in the works. (http://moviesblog.mtv.com/2008/06/10/exclusive-adam-beach-to-star-in-live-action-turok-movie/) The news was revealed by “Flags of our Fathers” and eventual “Turok” actor Adam Beach. “We just finished the animated movie and now we’re going into the feature film movie [which should lens] hopefully in a couple years. We’re about to set up meetings to develop a script and put it out there,” he said. “I’ll have to beef up, and be a good guy, and save the world!”
The animated film Beech refers to is the already-released (http://www.amazon.com/Turok-Son-Stone-Adam-Beach/dp/B000ZBEOGK) “Turok: Son of Stone,” in which he voiced Turok himself. He voiced Turok in the recent game, as well, and seems excited to continue the role on the big screen a few years from now.
Looks like the Turok: Son of Stone guys are striking back. Hunh.
This has nothing to do with Disney.
Also: HAAAAAHAHAHA. I AM TUROKUNGH.
