Well, this took forever, but the demo is finally up for NGII in the United States and Canada.

I don't think I've ever really played a Ninja Gaiden game before, so I think I'll give this demo a try.

Woot, downloading now. Nib95's off-screen pictures on the IGN Xbox 360 General Board have got my hyped for this game.

What do you mean by "off-screen pictures?"

Pictures of a TV taken by a digital camera - opposed to direct capture by a capture card or something.

I don't know how this many people have not played this game. Hope you guys enjoy the demo, it's truly an amazing 360 game. And Flunkie, I'll spare you the "I told you so" since you're probably already beating yourself up over it anyway.

Everyone here needs to play this game, it's freaking awesome. It's really hard, almost to the point of being cheap sometimes, yet it never makes you feel as if it's cheating. If there's a part you can't get past, you just fell like you're simply not good enough yet. Then, once you get past a particularly tough part, you get a really rewarding feeling. Oh, btw, don't play it on Acolyte, that's for noobs.

The demo was fun, but I've fallen into this trap before with Devil May Cry and the first Ninja Gaiden. I don't learn the movesets for the weapons, figure out how to spam four or five overpowered attacks, and repeat them until I reach the last third of the game where I either lose interest in the game (DMC) or cannot reasonably progress (NG).

I will buy Ninja Gaiden II. I know this, and I know that I will regret it.
