Wow, this game is a beast. 10 million sold and a sure to be disappointing sequel on the way (f'n COD5 :() Also, the map pack has sold 1.5 million which is damn impressive too.

They expect to have a good holiday season this year again too with COD4.

Why is CoD5 automatically sure to be disappointing?

I'm not saying that as if it's going to be a bad game, but Treyarch is developing it and not I.W. and it's back to taking place in WW2 so it seems like a step back imo.

edit: plus, it's always kinda said that out of the three next gen COD games, COD3 (which is the only Treyarch one) is the most disappointing one when compared to the other two.

I heard it will be an even and odd situation. Number six will be I.W.

I am curious though since Treyarch is also doing the new James Bond game on the Call of Duty 4 engine.

Can they screw up 2 games in one year?

It's Treyarch doing it again. Going back to WW2, in a pacific theater setting.

FAIL

Activision will realize they screwed up giving it back to Treyarch when CoD 5 sales tank. IW will then up the ante to Activision to keep on making CoD 6. Obviously IW did right with CoD 4 to sell 10 million copies. I guess they just don't like to keep printing money like Nintendo is accustomed to now.

Maybe they have 2 teams working on CoD games so they can pump them out twice as fast. Maybe they started working on CoD5 as soon as CoD3 was finished...
