No way 5 Guests?!, if you're lurking and you see this, I ask that at least ONE of you to join and post a bit. I want to see this place gain a little more traffic now, especially for the summer time. And we have a nice new look cooking up! :D

So puh-lease! Stop hiding and come out to post!

* Also,if this doesn't work then I think we need to use this thread to try to figure out how to get more people.

Try recruiting from AIM chat rooms. That's what I used to do.

Or bring over your fellow NeoGAFers. Tell them this a great alternative place to post because its smaller so they can make friends and enjoy a quiet, campfire-like setting.

There are already NeoGAF spin-offs for that.

I would invite EO, but no.

Just no.

Looking by the title change (thanks Dyne) this thread has kicked into plan B. So, what are some other ways to go about getting people to join and actually post?

No problem.

We should probably look into getting some girls. I mean, 2 is fine, but it's still quite a sausage fest up ins.

Amen brotha, Jim maybe into sausage fests (are you still keeping up that schtick? btw Jim, or did that die with Renwood?) but some variety would be nice.

I love going to Who's Online and seeing what the crawlers are looking at. Lets me reminisce the old days of GT.

Let's get Ulala to come back again AGAIN.

Or Kitana.

Where the F is Vampyr? That guy really needs to come back and bring the Kentucky Coalition with him.

Maybe he'll be back for the new mafia game which I'm about to make a thread for.

Thank you for volunteering to get returning members back.

That's the spirit!

Aladuf, Jim and GM are in charge of the new member drive!

Let's move out team!

Send out a mass e-mail to all members informing them that your website still exists and is, in some sense, active.

I did that and got forty members back once. Though, since you people don't demand legitimate e-mail addresses, your mileage may vary.

We don't?
That is an interesting note.
*Records in book*

We have done mass e-mails to former members before though. We get some back. Others have changed their e-mails since then.

What ever happened to our Sly Moogle friend?

Dyne

What? Did the email confirmation step get turned off during registration? I thought we had that turned on.

And yeah, Bond JUST did a mass email last month as part of the member push. We got a lot of people back but only a few have stuck around.

That''s a damn fine question.
I remember he has a few of you on one of these weird journal sites so maybe someone can contact him?

He has no contact info on GT and you can't er e-mail him if not admin.
