Bought the game yesterday and here are a few thoughts:

- The writing is funny, but not as funny as the comics. Just humorous, mostly, with only a few LOL moments. The Fruit Fucker is hilarious, though.

- The are only a few environments, and those are bland to say the least, with the amusement park being the best realized.

- Surprisingly, the gameplay is the true strength of this game, and truly is the revolution the the realtime/turn based genre should strive for. Its simple, intuitive, but most importantly... BALANCED (admittedly, it is rock/paper/scissors balancing). Each encounter offers something special and a new way to defeat your enemies. The overkill system is great, too, and encourages you to finish battles with a flourish because you are rewarded with increased damage when you do so. Some might say that there aren't enough special attacks, but when you are given the ability to combine the special attacks and add in that each one requires that you complete a mini-game to fully exploit, battle becomes a furious and addictive affair.

I wanted this a lot, but it says that "the demo is not available to download in my region" when I try to download it from XBLA. And I don't want to play it on my PC, as I don't think it play well.

Still, PC demo seems to be the only way to go..

I bought it when it came out a week and a half ago, just to give them my support. But I still haven't had a chance to play.

Yeah, I was in Ft. Lauderdale for two days ending with a four-day cruise to the Bahamas all last week with my beautiful girlfriend. It's not like it's a big deal or anything.

I think it's pretty cool.
I haven't played it, I've only seen it, though.
I might give it a rent.

What I find most appealing about it is the sort of nostalgic throwback style of game. In being turn-based, I mean.

I also like the pre-game, and post-game poetry, because I'm a writing-nerd like that.
