View Full Version : Changes Made to GameTavern Today Explained

I made several changes to GameTavern today. Below I have outlined the most important ones:

- The smilies that appear when posting a full reply have been increased from 9 to 11 (mostly to include our newest smilie :lolz:).

- The option to select styles has been added to the bottom left portion of the forum. Currently, the only style which can be selected is the default one, but hopefully this will change in the near future.

- The default user titles have been altered to the following:

Baron - 0 posts
Viscount - 50 posts
Earl - 100 posts
Marquis - 150 posts
Duke - 200 posts
Knight - 250 posts

- Users now need to amass 250 posts to obtain a custom title. User titles can be altered by going to user/cp -> edit profile -> custom user title.

- The default thread view for new users has been changed from "Linear - Newest First" to "Linear - Oldest First."

The newest version of vBulletin is 3.7.0 and right now we're at 3.6.4

And 3.7.0 has some pretty cool new features like a lightbox viewer for attached images.

Usually best to wait for the .1 release that fixes the majority of the bugs for .0

Unfortunately we can't do that without Neo.

I wish Neo would give one of you guys admin powers equivalent to his since he's never here :unsure:

I do miss the guy, do we have any idea where he is?

Dyne and I have the power to basically do anything, it's just that we don't have Neo's personal username and password to the vB forums.

Both Dyne and BaB tried contacting him last week, and I don't believe they've heard from him.

I TOTALLY agree with flunkie on this, I've wanted to say many things that are considered spoilers for games on here but didn't do it because of a lack of the spoiler tag.
