I know most of you will find this hard to believe but I never quite realized how huge of a Nintendo slant these forums had to them.
I was going through some old threads and realized that about 75% of the threads in this forum are Nintendo related.
Now, I know this is because the forum spun off from a Nintendo related forum, but that was almost 10 years ago. I think we can kind of move away from that heritage.
I will take the blame for some of it. As a gamer, I favor nintendo so my posts/threads tend to be in their favor and there is nothing I can really do about that.
However, I am open to making discussion on the 360/ps3 more accessible and viable on these forums.
It would be a good start if those who are highly interested in the 360/ps3 like I am with the Wii to start posting more threads and news that you think is important. And as a community, I hope we embrace these threads even if we don't have too much to say on the subject.
Also, and I know this part may be tough but getting in more gamers to the forums who aren't Nintendo bred. I don't know where to start I guess online would be a good place.
Any other suggestions? Recommendations?

*slow clap* I agree.
I've noticed the Nintendo "lean" that these forums have at times but I feel that I've learned to cope with it. My issue is that I never felt/feel like posting news about the PS3 because I have a feeling that it'll kinda be looked past and ignored since most people here don't seem to own a PS3 and therefore aren't totally interested in it (which I'm not knocking you guys for that at all).
I will make a point now to post some PS3 news and I will try and bring a little light to the Sony side of things for those who are still mostly in the dark!
I would post stuff about the 360 but pretty much all news I know about it I hear from here so.......
I don't know where I stand. Even though I own all three, I still consider myself stronger with the Wii side of things. I thought I would be a 360 person this generation but I'm not really playing it these days. PS3 I use a ton, though, for Blu-ray (which I own maybe 20-30 of), DVDs, and TV shows. I also play a lot of games on it but not near the amount of use my Wii sees in that department.
Who knows, I might start playing my 360 exclusively in a few weeks. I'm kind of like that. It's just hard balancing the three, you know?

I'm totally inlove with the PS3.
It's no secret that I'm a big graphics whore, and that is almost what sells me on every system, which is why I've stuck with Playstation, primarily. It just helps that they own the FF series.
For me, the good things about the Playstation, is first and foremost, the high lack of system failures. I have two systems, both different models, one bought at release date, one bought about 5 months ago. One standing, one laying down. Neither have ever frozen, turned themselves off, overheated, had any storage or saving problems, loading problems etc.
It also has a Blu-Ray player, which honestly, is a big sale for me when I first got it. Because they were so expensive.
Not to mention it does have some pretty sweet games for it. I'm more into sports games, and in sports games graphics make the most difference, which I guess explains a lot - but I was blown away by Uncharted: Drake's Fortune - and I don't think this game gets as much recognition or credit as it definitely should get. The best comparison I have to the game, is to an Indiana Jones movie. The dialogue is amazing, the graphics are stunning (When you go in waist high in water, only up to your waist gets wet), all the cut-scenes were done with motion-sensoring on the actual voice-actors, so it looks stunning. The gameplay is like an oldschool action-puzzle-platformer.
If I didn't have the system, I would buy it solely for that game.

I have an X360 and Wii. Deep down I prefer the X360 over the Wii, only because I feel that the Wii has branched out to the mainstream public and it shows in many of their games.
The games like Super Mario Galaxy, Zelda TP I love , and enjoy playing but I'm with Typhoid, sometimes I wanna play games that look crisp and nice, whilst being fun and entertaining.
I have been playing Mario Kart online tho, and it is very fun, loving it atm. Mario Galaxy tho as I've mentioned many times before, is THE game. Nothing in my eyes beats this game in terms of playability, innovation, fresh ideas, and overall suprise. It just feels so different from all other games that I've played, and that's just what I think the gaming industry really needs.
I will buy a Ps3, not sure when, but still at the moment I keep putting it off because there is simply no games on it that I majorily want, especially considering I have an X360 and most major titles have been put across both consoles. When MGS4 and the next FF comes (please don't make it like XII) come out, then I may change my tune.

I'll start preying on people in chat rooms and other message boards. I like to go for the younger ones cause its easier to convince them to register.
